Own Porn Website
-
Hey Guys,
I don't know if somebody would be able to help but I am not sure what to do. I am kind of trying to make some money online as I live alone, I have no sponsors, no family, minimum wage job and I am trying to finish my uni… somehow. The point is, that If I could make at least something, it would really help me.
So, a few months ago I started my own gay porn website (3), two of them are websites with embedded videos from other big websites with filtered out videos based on metadata. The third one is only with amateur websites with amateur videos only.
I am using a special script, so I removed lots of annoying ads, I have quite good page views ratio per visitor, but the only problem is, if I don't pay for the traffic I barely get some. I have lots of videos on that website (almost 160K), really fast hosting (I am using Google Cloud and AWS), good SEO optimization, on pagespeed insight score I am getting 95-100%. Still I won't get more than 1 click from Google per day.Any ideas? :blownose: :blownose: :blownose:

I think you are needing an Appeal–- why your page? what do you offer... if you are not gonna bring people to a site that has already a million of similar sites just focus on SEO and hope for the best ( not the best idea , tho).

I don't see how a porn web of non-specialized fetish/content could work nowadays when there's already plenty of mirrors like that which you'll need to beat first.

I think it's a good idea to focus on specific fetishes. I've heard small sites are making good money like that. And make customs.

There would seem to be two problems:
1 A lack of users
2 A lack of referrals from search sites.Problem number one is a problem of general marketing. And as others have said, trying to create another wanna-be-me-too site is unlikely to work. You need to offer something customers/users/clients (delete as a applicable) can not get else where.
That "something" can be anything. Not just fetish type content, but also presentation. For example: videos of a single male wanking. Many sites present this basic content in an unique way.
There is also the functionality of your website. You have an amateur section. Can amateurs up-load their own videos? How easy is it? What "social-media" functions does your site also offer?
Problem number two is a very different problem and can be a "catch 22" situation. Google (other search sites are available) have their own agenda and criteria on page ranking. I doubt Google is totally up-front on how they rank pages, but they may have some guides. Have you tried searching for your websites? Maybe that may provide an insight on why other users can't find them.
How visible are your sites to the index spiders? Index spiders (other terms are available) are bots that create the indexes used by Google etc. So if you're using lots of fancy stuff (eg: Javascript) then it's possible you're site can't be properly indexed. And if you're site can't be indexed then it can't be listed in search results.

While it may be a good idea, the average person has no iota of a clue as to just how involved it is starting a website! Especially when your doing it alone. Creating any kind of site can litterally take control of your life, because there are so many things to learn and do for your website; and just about every single thing you do requires manual labor. Not to mention the actual design processes. That's not meant to be a negative discouragement. But your better off keeping your valuable time to focus on your studies, and perhaps get another part time job (that would be a lot easier than trying to build another site on your own).

I'm sorry to hear about your current tough situation. Trying to stay afloat with a job that doesn't pay well, coupled with the steep cost of uni, means you might need to think beyond just variations on old-school porn sites.
There are people making good (and in some cases, very good) money modeling in adult video-cam entertainment, where the start-up and overhead costs are low and the hours are incredibly flexible because you determine when, and how often. Chaturbate is one cam site that comes to mind. Many men and women begin with the modeling as a second income stream, and the ones who excel gain their principal revenue from it.
You mention that you have no immediate family and live alone, which is plus in this scenario. But if you live in a country where being identified risks your life, then cams absolutely are not an option. If your uni is religious and you don't want to transfer to a public option, cams are out, as well.
Cam show performers often develop niche audiences for a specific (and yes, often fetish) performance style. As well, to be frank, cams are ideal venues for performers with faces and bodies that are less than perfect.
While some cam models have the boilerplate, muscular look, many others have a single exceptional quality – beautiful chest hair, big OR tiny dick, uniforms, painted toenails, verbal style, swinging testicles, piercings, obese and proud -- if you can imagine it, there's a market for it. And significant revenue can come from the "private show" options, so a few recurring patrons can mean a nice income stream.
To sum it up -- a cam is clearly not for everyone, but it's an option for some.

Get on social media and drive traffic to your site that way too develop a following and mention your site and advertise your cock & balls a bit hopefully that'll do the trick. :hug2:
