Elderly black man gunned down on Facebook Live - BLM and race baiters silent.
-
Steve Stephens, a black man, films himself on Facebook Live murdering an elderly black man. During the live stream he says he killed 13 people and says he's gonna keep killing.
BLM and the other race baiters are no where in sight.
I wonder how the black supremacists (ie; Gozi, Cynthia G, etc, etc, etc) are gonna spin this to blame white people.
Why do black lives only matter when they are killed by a white person or a cop of any color? And it's usually only when it's a thug.

Do you even know what you're talking about? This isn't even a race issue. This is a toxic masculinity issue. A man who could not handle rejection from a women decided to go on a killing spree. He couldn't talk to his male friends about his emotions/feelings before, because of society's hyper masculinity.
However, BLM activists all over Twitter are actually the first ones to address this issue, condemning this black man. So you must have not tried hard enough to find BLM activists' responses to this. Finally, BLM activists care about crime within their own communities, BUT IT IS NOT A RACE ISSUE ("black-on-black crime" is a myth). BLM specifically looks at systemic racism, police brutality, etc. which are race issues.

Ah okay, so then show me the protests. Show me burning down buildings and beating people in the streets because of the outrageous number of black deaths. No?
By the way, there were ~200 or so gun deaths in Chicago this year alone. How many wrongful deaths by cops have their been this year? Zero? One?
shocked

This isn't a singular actuating event. Trump, Police, and organizations choose happenings that support their platform while avoiding obvious follies. The police work within an official capacity cannot wade in and out of the public sphere like BLM can. Black crime and murder lingers on public opinion much longer than white crime. Montana is ranked as one of the top 5 most dangerous places and is nearly all white. No one would prelogically consider Montana dangerous and would be inclined to chose it over an affluent and crime black/Latino neighborhood. There are some sick and bizarre crimes that would leave you in awe, but they remain to local reporting oddly. Often you have to sift through police information just learn they actually happened. Basically, you have to look for this abundance of information whereas black/latino crime is thrust into the public sphere. This is also coupled with bigger cities having the capacity to cover events within its community whereas counties are nearly invisible. Perhaps since I serve in the military, I often lean or law on order but I can't help but notice they do have legitimate concerns statistically. Most of their concerns seems to reside with judges since sentencing is the lopsided reality they endure that cripples their lives but police do have some questionable proportion of law enforcement when you look at the numbers. Also, blacks have long since been the victims of police brutality before the civil rights era and were treated badly afterwards with the rise of the drug war and heightened poverty among their communities. Police are seen as the vanguards of civilization in all other communities whereas that is not so in black communities. I don't like this whole black community and white community nonsense since it gleans on segregation. Unfortunately it remains a reality. Mississppi last year received another desegregation order. This isn't surprising when you follow the tactics following white flight and realize lot of these communities remain to resemble those communities from 40 years ago. This may pale a little far from BLM topic at hand, basically it's a s#@t show.

Guys, a Black man killed another Black man; racism and police brutality are thus proven not to exist! Don't believe those liberal lies!!
-
Black on black crime is a myth?! How so?
Tommy Sotomayor (a black guy) does an excellent job of reporting this "myth" and lots of black people hate him for it. There are many other blacks (as well as other races) who also report on this kind of thing.
++++
For this topic, let's forget all the other crap, like police violence, and focus on this "myth" and why not all black lives matter.
Why doesn't that elderly black man's life matter to BLM and the race baiters?!
Why doesn't that 9yo girl doing her homework on her bed life matter?
Why doesn't the grandmother, who complained about BLM ignoring the 9yo girl's murder, life matter, when she got countless death threats?
++++
Blacks have been demanding segregation on college campuses across North America the last few years.
Ebonics was discredited 20 year ago and now it's making a come back, with blacks wanting to be taught using it again.

So now the problem is "toxic masculinity". When is this IdPol craziness ever going to stop? Up next, trans men can't take hormones because they will become too masculine and murder people.

I watched Sotomayor's excellent interview with Dave Rubin a few days ago, difficult conversations that need to happen. I just wish more white liberals would listen to what he has to say.

When a man does something bad, it's "toxic masculinity".
When a woman does something bad, it's "patriarchy" or some other excuse, like hormones.
-
When a man does something bad, it's "toxic masculinity".
That's only if a non-white male does it. When a white person does something bad, it's good old fashioned racism/sexism every time. And don't forget, whitey invented toxic masculinity!

Needless to say you are all missing a macroscopic detail: that black guy was so easily able to kill another man because he had a gun.
When people are armed to their teeth (like US citizens) it's not surprising that events like that one happen: guns are precisely made for killing. -
you guys should join Neo Nazi groups

OK, one question: when was the last time you noticed a redneck meth-head doing the exact same thing? It happens all the time.

Care to explain exactly why you say that?
Do I care that Michael Brown was gunned down like the dog he was? FUCK NO. His race has nothing to do with my opinion on that. Any piece of filth like him deserves it, regardless of race.
Do I care that the elderly black man was gunned down? FUCK YES. He was totally innocent.
This is why I fucking despise BLM.
OK, one question: when was the last time you noticed a redneck meth-head doing the exact same thing? It happens all the time.
Go cry to the White Lives Matter people.
-
Go learn how to feel empathy & sympathy for other human-beings instead of just wanting to be an asshole to everyone that has an opinion you do not have the intellect to conceive-of. :bithfight:
Go cry to the White Lives Matter people.
-
Wait, you are butt hurt at me because BLM doesn't care about most murdered black people?
Do you realize that White Lives Matter can not exist because it would be deemed racist. HELL, All Lives Matter is deemed racist.

BLM is about police accountability so bringing them up in this was just…irrational. What happened to Robery Godwin, Sr. was awful but I fail to see what any of it has to do with BLM and their reasons for demanding police accountability. Steve Stephens didn't mention BLM when he murdered Mr. Godwin, so what's the connection? While I disagree with BLM on many, many things and am glad to see their role in discourse has been reduced heavily lately, there simply is no connection to that movement and this horrible killing. The 2nd Amendment and the little regulation on that Amendment has more to do with this case than BLM.
-
"Irrational" must be your favorite word, after "racist" of course.
So, BLM is the the dictionary definition of false advertising. They aren't concerned about ALL black live, just those of thugs killed by police, even when race baiting Obama sends in the FBI and nothing is found, like we saw in the Michael Brown case. I'm glad you cleared that up for us.

"Irrational" isn't my favorite word, it just describes 95-98% of your arguments perfectly. So does this :crazy2:
And I'm not sure what you're not getting, but I guess the best way to break it down for you is to explain: there are groups dedicated to ending black on black violence but those groups do not get covered in the media. There are thousands of community based groups that are focused on putting an end to black on black violence (they could use some help by people like you btw) and then there are groups focused on putting an end to state-sponsored violence and racial profiling committed by the police. My parents were volunteers in a group for many years that was focused on stopping black on black violence in neighborhoods on the "bad" side of our city, so please do not bring your "irrationality" into something you couldn't possibly understand. Systemic racism is very complex. So what does that tell you? It's going to take multiple organizations coming in from multiple angles to bring light to the problem and propose sustainable solutions. Also, if you're seriously arguing that systemic racism is simple and plays no role in black on black violence, then your arguments are more "irrational" than I previously thought.

racism and police brutality are thus proven not to exist!
Nice strawman. Nobody in this thread said any of those things.
