Used to love iOS for thr sheer simpleness and sharp design.  However, I've moved onto Android and love all the customization you can do.

Android is improving, and there is almost no difference. Android has a lot more options too.

If you use other apple products normally, I would definitely go with iOS.

What is it that draws you to Apple products?

It must be that Google/Android "spies" people a lot more than Microsoft/Win7/8/10 did/does.

Check out the site 'they' build in Utah - all searches, sms, emails and what not stored "forever", for our security 'they' say…

I've had an iPhone since the very beginning but have played with Android simulators for some games so I can play on the computer without it looking like I'm using my phone at work!

I don't think its a "whats the best system" but rather witch one suits you better. In this case, I prefer iOS because of the integration with all the other apple products.

This is the precise reason why I became my own independent provider for a lot of my services, including email and DNS. I can control what does and does not work. For some of my customers, I have made my servers able to play nice with Google so that they can import their emails through my network into Google, however I made this service optional because I prefer to host and store absolutely everything across an in-house platform across several different geographical locations. 🙂

Also, I've surgically removed a lot of the Google stuff from my phone, disabled all permissions to Facebook Messenger, because their TOS allow them to spy on your device at any time they so choose, without notice if you give these permissions to Messenger so that you can video call, take pictures, make phone calls, etc… It's also the reason why I now use PrivateVPN for all my shady business online. They're fully compatible with GT.ru, as I'm currently using them for such purposes and I'm seeing upload traffic. 🙂

I prefer apple because of the integration between devices, the app store, and the speed. Although android has more apps, that's because they don't have as tough a screening process as apple so apple's apps are generally higher quality and most apps come to apple first anyway. Also I find that games start up faster and run a lot more smoothly on apple devices than android ones. (I've had an android and recently switched to apple btw and most of my friends have androids).

I used iOS for years as I liked my phone just being an "extra" device. One I could back up through iTunes and restore to another phone and it be exactly the same.

However, I've now switched to Android as I appreciate the flexibility of being able to download any app even if not approved by Apple, and enjoy my "extra" device being able to do anything my computer can, really.

I also hate restrictions caused by Apple and love Android's freedom..

I think that Apple follows the same bad policy that also followed with Apple's computers..

                                  😕

For me I use both Android and iOS…
But I prefer iOS, for the better app launch and everything else.
Android is free but slow. Even for my S7E.
