I'd say the majority of Mac users, myself included, don't use anti-virus.

But when Apple says Macs "don't get PC viruses"–sure, that's true (if you take PC to mean Windows). But they do get Mac viruses.

For anyone who's prone to make security mistakes I absolutely recommend Sophos for Mac. Free and a great product.

I used iOS for years as I liked my phone just being an "extra" device. One I could back up through iTunes and restore to another phone and it be exactly the same.

However, I've now switched to Android as I appreciate the flexibility of being able to download any app even if not approved by Apple, and enjoy my "extra" device being able to do anything my computer can, really.

Microsoft have actually made a bit of an effort in the Creators Update to give more control over privacy to the user. When setting up on a new computer, the user sees all the default settings with switches next to them rather than one big "Use express settings" button… so that's good.

And while not perfect, 1703 has been the most stable Win 10 major feature update so far in my experience.
