Poll: Early, On-Time, Late…Which are you?
-
These are just generalizations in the various aspects of your daily life, and how things for you seem to go. It may not always be the case, but on average…you could say so. (And of course, the little notes tagged to the votes...just something totally in fun from me and my warped mind. >:D)
Naturally, as I think it would be, I'm pretty sure we all would love to be on the early side of things–avoiding the stress of having to rush, and leaving yourself with time--a valuable commodity in itself. However, as true as that may be, it is what it is; and you do what you can do!
I’d have to say that for the most part, I tend to “run late.”
Procrastination, overoptimistic, underestimation (that’s me)--or just plain “stupid” (yeah…that’s me too)--usually attributed to this tendency of mine.
For better or worse--I guess I’d also have to say that it’s to the point where it’s almost expected of me. Before I started texting my bowling team directly, I used to call the bowling alley and ask them to pass the message to my team. So I’m calling in one evening, and had to laugh when the standard, and expected greeting, “Good evening, Albany Bowl…” was replaced with “Ellis…you’re going to be late…” upon seeing my phone number displayed on their console.
So, in general, it is fair to say that I tend to run a little bit late.
What about you?

Early most of the time.
-
I'm always early!
-
early if I can.
-
Unfortunately, I'm late most of the time. I try at times, but meh.
-
i am always on-time!But not just on-time, i usually arrive at my meetings much much earlier!
-
I'm in the middle and it depends on what it's for.
I like being fashionably late sometimes.
If it's work or career, yes I'm pretty much always on time because I make sure I leave early. I give myself a 90 minute window sometimes. Even more if it's raining or the internet says traffic is bad.

Always on time if I'm not earlier
-
Way too fucking early. I worry about everything. Getting everywhere early eliminates worries about being late. But it also means waiting around and being bored. Sometimes for hours. I don't even have a phone, so I'm literally just twiddling my thumbs or trying to kill time flicking through old magazines or looking for anagrams in posted signs and shit like that while I wait.
I'm always drunk before anyone else shows up to parties at friends' places, too. All because I'm typically the first guest to arrive, and I tend to start pounding beers the moment I get through the door.

I have always been early, to parties, work, life.
Now so more than ever as I teach in a Latin country, which means time runs differently down here.
I, however, start my classes, both work and private ones on the hour that is programmed, it actually means many times that I 'teach' less time as they are almost always running late.
