Make America great again
-
Partisans have to hate. Doesn't matter what side they're on.
-
Rainbow flags have been burned.
Homophobic attacks and rhetoric on the increase.
But hey - that's what Trumpsters were voting for - to tell it like they see it - no PC filter.
Americans will be living under a conservative Supreme Court for decades and they deserve everything they get.
That is the most important thing, and no words to describe how scary it can be for decades to come.
-
considering foreign policy, what's the difference really? usa never ceased to make artificial wars, from vietnam till today. no matter bush, or obama, the nobel prize for peace laureate.
american foreign policy is neocolonial, acting like a world police just to turn around more money from the military machine.
can you quasyliberals and humanists look in the mirror and say that a proven warmongering harpy from hell that hillary is would be a better choice than someone who at least did not prove himself to be that bad and doesn't have blood on his hands?I am hoping you are right.
@dzirlo:do you really believe she sincerely cares for people and human rights when is constantly lobbying for more wars globally?
i'm just glad that she lost because she already showed her real face.just remember that few years ago she was against gay marriage but when the climate in accepting lgbt changed, she jump on a bandwagon.
give me tumps sexism and vulgarity everyday over a sweet talking psychopath.Agree with you on this one. I didn't want to vote for her, but I just remembered how good she used to before she set her eyes on the
White House. I tried to convinced me that she might just play with the system and act tough because she is a woman. And I wouldn't miss voting for the first female president, so I did cast my vote for her. It turned out that not only men but also lots of women seriously hate to accept a woman jumping ahead of them.
@dzirlo:i just can't believe how shallow gay people are to be bought by a few nice words
You just prove your point.

When did America STOP being great?
When big business and the wealthy started running the country. Voting themselves raises, giving themselves tax breaks, and making the rest of us pay for it.
-
Umm, someone needs to learn their history.
Vietnam was actually a French war that America got dragged into and France buggered off, leaving the US holding the bag.
lol yeah, industry of war was just dragged into it, poor little sweeties. i bet you have excuse for all the war atrocities continued decades after all over the world with usa always "dragged in".
So you are saying that the US has never not been in a war.
I'm saddened by the fact that you would rather the US not got to war, say like in Bosnia, to end genocide.
Maybe the US should have ignored both WW1 and WW2.
Maybe the US should have ignored the wars where they were invaded by the UK and Spain.
I'm sure the people of Kuwait are happy that the US didn't just sit back and let them be invaded.
-
I love the way that a week ago Trump was bellowing about how if he lost he would not accept the result, but today he's saying how he was elected "in an open and honest election."
-
It turned out that not only men but also lots of women seriously hate to accept a woman jumping ahead of them.
That is the biggest load of crap and you know it (it's even contrary to what you said before this in your own post). So is basing votes, particularly in presidential elections, on completely irrelevant identity politics.
She lost because of how undeniably corrupt she is, and how far-reaching her corruption and lies were exposed to be. That was her downfall. Gender had nothing to do with it. You think I didn't think to myself, in spite of all her corruption and ongoing scandals, "Wow, how cool! First woman president!"? A lot of people did. That was her big selling point, pathetically enough. But that is not why you elect someone to the office of President of the United States, FFS.
At any rate, I think I've had my fill of going around in circles with literally everyone about this election and politics in general for the next 6 months, so I'll fuck off now.

I DID NOT vote for him, but seeing as how he was elected, I'm willing to give him a chance, and see what happens. Mind you, I'm terrified, but I'm ok with waiting long enough to see if he'll stabilize somewhat. I keep telling myself that he was acting in order to get the part…but his entire life's history leads me to believe this was nothing but a power grab. I hope (but at the moment seriously doubt) he did this to help Rust Belters get their manufacturing and mining jobs back. He's spent his life trying to accumulate money and power, and in questionable ways, I might add. The pure disgust I had originally has now mellowed into a kind of hopeful bitterness. I WANT so badly to be wrong about all the ways this could go south, but I can't help feeling something bad will happen. I mean...I'm hearing whispers of Steve Bannon as Chief of Staff, and it nauseates me. All of the names that have floated up as potential cabinet members...it just reeks of hard right hatred and mob-like thuggery. NOT TO MENTION-- Dave Duke and other white supremacists will probably be knocking at the White House back door expecting some kind of bone to be thrown their way.......YES, it scares me THAT much.
In all fairness, Hillary DID win the popular vote. Literally more bodies voted for her than voted for Trump--of course, due to the Electoral College, and the way the votes are distributed between states, Trump very nearly swept the board. Additionally, bits of each demographic everyone expected to vote for Hillary (blacks, latinos, etc., etc.) either didn't show up for her on the level everyone thought they would, or defected to Trump completely. Obama's popularity with minorities just didn't translate 100% to her, and unfortunately I think Dems banked too hard on that.
In hindsight, Bernie totally should have been nominated instead of Hillary, but I think Dems feared he'd have lost to some of the more traditional Repubs in the case that Trump lost the nomination. I think at the time it was Cruz who was closest behind Trump...it was a calculated move that seriously shot them in the foot.

I didn't vote for him, and fuck America for the people that did. In fact, I'm going to piss on the flag, burn it, post it on YouTube, and protest outside of Dump's new DC hotel.
I'm not willing to give him a chance as a NON-WHITE AMERICAN because of the things he has said. He is trash as is his running mate.
For someone whom is LGBTQ not to realize that and at least agree with how he and his mate have stoked homophobia, and therefore threatened our rights as LGBTQ persons would be the height of ignorance.
Bunch of hillbilly, ignorant, selfish, trailer and mcmansion living white trash his supporters are.
#NotMyPresident #NeverMyPresident
I will work every step to undermine him at every turn. Just how the Republicans did to Obama. I wish for him to have the worst presidency in modern times, so that these foolish, ignorant Americans who voted for him will see their error, and REALLY be sorry.

He'll be beaten in 2020 with a less controversial Democrat as an opponent.
He lost the popular vote. Even though everyone who didn't vote for her says Hillary is so corrupt - he still couldn't beat her in the popular vote.
Now that Democrats will experience 4 years of a Republican president, and at least 2 years of a Republican congress, hopefully that'll rally them in the coming midterm and the next presidential election.
He is trash as is his running mate.
Mike Pence is very worrying. He has some very extreme views. Although there are self-loathing gays who don't mind the law working against them, many are right to be concerned about social justice.
There was a leak from the Trump team, I don't know how accurate, that if they won, Trump was going to be the frontman and Pence was going to be the policy man. Scary thought indeed!

Sure I have a comment. Fuck that guy right in the pussy. Or was it grab him right in the pussy.
It was "grab him/her in the pussy" NOT MY PRESIDENT.
-
Facts:
1- Trump is pro establishment, who knew what a shocker… Just look at the lobbyists on his transitional cabinet
2- He will be impeached most likely be it by the electorate college, the GOP or by court
3- All the above plus Day 1 of trump show that things might be triggered to escalate to near civil warA winter shitstorm is going to hit America like a tsunami, I'll enjoy seeing the trumpeters finding out that he won't do anything they wanted.
Stay safe.

Good! See you in 6 months.
By the way, I stand by my comment men(hetero) and women(religious/docile) don't like to see a strong and smart woman jumping ahead of them in an extraordinary way. It is just the way society makes them think and behave. But Democrats played the gender card with Hillary also, and they lost it. -
Hillary lost because of because of identity politics; ie feminism, BLM, SJWs, etc etc, etc. Almost no one who voted against her cared that she is a woman.

Social Justice Warriors.
They are the ones demand "safe spaces", "trigger warnings" and all manner of stupidity. They claim that words like feminism is exactly as it is in the dictionary, but other words in the dictionary are wrong because the dictionary is an evil part of the patriarchy. This is the dictionary fallacy.
They are the ones that scream claiming that Yale University is a home, not a place of learning.
They are the ones that literally, and out in public, shit on Trump signs and rub the shit in with their hands.
They are the ones that claim that there are an infinite number of genders or that genders do not exist.
They are the ones that blame everything on white people.
They are the ones that claim that only whites can be racist and only men can be sexist.
The list is endless. Basically they are the freaks of society.

Yeah sure, if you want to massively caricature other's beliefs, we can all do that:
Trump supporters -
They are the ones who voted for someone who insulted the parents of a dead soldier, for someone who said it was McCain's fault he was captured. Trump supporters are unpatriotic.
They support a guy who doesn't understand judicial independence, or the that a free press is a bulwark against tyranny. Trump supporters don't support the constitution.
They support a candidate who admires autoritarian leaders and when Russia breaches US security to influence and election do not care. In the 50's Trump supporters would have been called unamerican.
White evangelicals http://www.pbs.org/wnet/religionandethics/headlines/poll-personal-immorality-not-disqualifying-elected-officials/ believe that a candidate's messy personal life should disqualify a candidate from office in 2011, but when it's their candidate they change their minds quickly. Trump supporters are hypocrites whose belief in 'family values' is now openly a ruse to intimidate and undermine those who are different to them.
See: it's easy to spew ad hominems and join you in a race to the bottom. I don't believe any of this is true about the majority of Trump supporters.
And anyone posting on a gay message board ought to reconsider using a phrase like "freaks of society", matey.

How is a "Social Justice Warriors" used a slur ?? isn't that a good thing by default since you want justice ??
safe spaces is a good thing is it not ??
i'm still not sure what you mean by "trigger warnings" as in disclaimer or ??
Anyhow A LOT of people have a vile opinions , and i think Should watch their words when speaking in public , since it's action and reaction .No need going on the street and say "yeah jews are such and such , Muslims such and such , gays ..etc …etc .
and then complain when people get offended or Thinking low of them . -
It's non-stop news coverage in my household presently and I have become numb to all the pundits and interviews about Trump's progress to date. As someone who should be concerned about things like his Cabinet choices, it's a lot of information to process. This is basically the best reality television show on the planet (and a pretty fascinating political science experiment). Intrigued about how all those Republicans who denounced Trump will continue forward relationship wise.
Impeachment was mentioned earlier here and It did get me to wonder what it would really take for that to happen? Not saying it should but, I wonder how much of a leash Trump will have if things start to get real crazy.
After that meltdown earlier :crazy2: pushing forward and having some semblance of faith that Trump will not be a complete lunatic. I am a bit relieved that the rhetoric has toned down a lot. I hope there will be conscious and honest attempts to heal the ever so much more so divided nation.

Social Justice Warriors are a joke/slur, because of their own actions.
Universitites are places of learning, not cuddlely homes as SJWs keep claiming.
Safe spaces in this context are places for people to cry and hug stuffed animals because they didn't get their way. Why do so called adults need a space like this for a lecture they aren't even attending?!
If you (generic use) are too stupid to realize that a degree in social work is going to involve discussing child abuse, then you don't deserve to be at university. This is why trigger warnings are a joke. In fact, universities are now starting to ban trigger warnings.
Think about it, a class with 100 students could have 100 different sets of trigger warning demands for the same course work.
SJWs only like free speech when it's their speech, as you showed.
Hillary used her free speech, which is why I hate her. The same with Trump. They both have the right to free speech, we do not have the right to silence them. Yeah yeah, I know some shitholes claim they have free speech, but criminalize speech they don't like, but we are talking about the US.
Of course we could talk about the whole gender issue, where SJWs can't even agree if gender exists or not. The SJWs who say genders exist claim that there is an infinite number of genders. On top of this, they have made up a list of bullshit personal pronouns. In Canada, they are in the process of criminalizing speech, including not using a person's made up personal pronouns.
