I just really can't decide, I don't really want either of them to become president!

In cases like this- my advice if you'll take it is to go with the lesser evil. You can't change the fact that one of them will win- but at least you can make your vote count by making sure the worst one doesn't become your president. I think it would be clear to you which is the worst of two bad choices.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short.
But shout it at them in German, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

I like Trump because I want to protect Western Civilization from collapsing. If its Hillary she and the Dems will totally change the demographics of the USA where the democrats will remain in power forever, and Texas may as well turn blue.

Hillary and the Dems have also stoked up tensions between the US and Russia which I fear may go nuclear.

With the latest Wikileaks/FBI Investigation I can't see how anyone can make a reasonable argument in favor for Hillary Clinton.

I know Trump is not perfect, nobody is, but I believe he genuinely cares about America and will not bend over to the slaves of political correctness that have been driving the nation in the wrong direction.

… How did you even got to this mess? You have two candidates with issues in court... crimes most likely.
Just massively vote Jill Stein or something.
Really you're going to put Trump as Potus, are you that insane? Don't you think the entire world would be a bit weirded out by that?
Hillary might prove to be just as ridiculous of a choice for whole other sinister reasons.

Americans just do a huge protest against both candidates in Washington... are you all just really going to swallow and hold breath for 4 years and handle the shitstorm?

I agree the two party system sucks, but really? Jill Stein? The person polling at 2%. No thanks pal.

Just a note, Trump wants to reverse gay marriage rights when he's elected. So I really hope none of you good people actually vote for him.  :bpr:

They will maybe have the chance to withstand that for 4 years.

But they do not have any ally in Asia, Middle Easter, partially Africa,
(luckily the Latin American countries are very angry but submissive),
and their economic hegemony doesn't stand anymore.

And this without resorting to the sad situation of the financial market,
deflated by the derivatives bubble (which has yet to blow up completely).

Everyone in the world is watching at the next DC move,
and in both cases it's the wrong move, so the empire is falling.

At this point, does it matter ?

What will come next ? Let's see  :cheesy2:

I will hold Donald Trump responsible for any internal, domestic violence following this election if he should win or lose. His loud anti-LGBT and racist rallies have served to incite the far-right, homophobic, evangelistic and 2nd amendment crowd to the point of yell for revolution and call to arms should be enough for all reasonable people among us to emphatically prevent Trump from the Presidency. I just can't image what it may be like for all Americans with Trump as president.

Hillary may be a tough choice to swallow- but Trump has been consistently worse. His policies are incoherent ramblings, he is a misogynist and racist, he brags about not paying taxes, swindling people who work for him, bankrupting multiple business ventures…the list goes on and on. Let's not forget he is a serial liar who has made the truth a joke in this election, and he is a hate-monger who is supported by the KKK.

Waving an (inverted) rainbow flag does not make you a supporter of gay rights. Representing the party which has consistently opposed gay rights and making statements that you want to undo marriage equality shows you are solidly against LGBT people. So, no, I don't think people should vote for him. The world would be a more dangerous place if he leads America for the next four years.

                              Hillary >>>>> Trump

                              And it's not even close.

I'm not a huge fan of Hillary but in comparison to Trump she definitely needs to win.  Trump is a demagogue who has thrown all minorities under the bus and clearly is ignorant on social issues which directly impacts our social group.

We can all debate a variety of issues like the economy, military, etc.  But what should be very clear is which political alliances (AKA parties) have had our backs more when it comes to legislation on LGBT issues and which party has thrown us under the bus more to other political interests.

1 of the most important powers of the President is his/her power to appoint federal judges and justices to the Supreme Court.  No branch of the government is perfect or free from corruption, but of the 3 branches, the judicial branch has been the most consistently protective of minority rights (against tyranny of the majority) and the one who has paved the way for increased social justice.  They helped end segregation, allowed interracial marriage, and of course recently paved the way for gay marriage among many other issues.

There's a whole bunch of other reasons to elect Hillary over Trump like the fact that she's a professional politician (where most of her faults come from, but that's largely a matter of "hate the game, not the player") whereas Trump still has all the vices of a politician without the experience, diplomacy, and competence.  He's a loose cannon whose main concern is his own self-interest and not the nation's.  He's clearly demonstrated he'll sell minority groups like us down the river.

                                @brianboru72:

                                supported by the KKK
the party which has consistently opposed gay rights
statements that you want to undo marriage equality

The truth is that the US government has never been into protecting LGBT people.

And in this election this applies to both you know who:
let's not forget the difference between public and private position.

If gay rights have been granted is a matter of circumstances due mostly to the perseverance of the people.
                                Not politics, not party, people.

For this reason I tend to hope that would have happened even if whoever else had power.
And for this exact reason I tend to think that an undo isn't going to happen anytime soon.

If you have time and wanna read a dissertation about KKK-equality-etc, here you can find some of past concerns that have never entirely left.

The battle for freedom as in speech, thought, behaviour, sexuality, religion is not gone,
there's only a change in appearance, but no one is going to endeavour our own battle, we have to.

The US elections are the only ones in the western world where I get genuinely scared for the future of humanity because they always bring forward the most disturbing candidates.

Hillary has defended rape (it's a fact)

                                      Evidence? Or just Breitbart?

In 1975 Clinton defended a man accused of raping a 12 year old girl. She attacked the victim's credibility, and got the charges reduced in a plea bargain. In a taped interview in the 1980's Clinton is heard laughing about getting the man off.

                                      http://freebeacon.com/politics/the-hillary-tapes/

Please get your facts straight, a judge assigned the rape case to Clinton. She did not volunteer to defend the man. She didn't even want to take the case but she could not refuse the judge. In 1980 she was interviewed about the case and during the interview she laughed about unusual aspects pertaining to the case, she wasn't laughing about getting the man off. You should really do a little more research try using factcheck, a nonpartisan, nonprofit “consumer advocate” for voters that aims to reduce the level of deception and confusion in U.S. politics.

Gay persons who support candidates that have such vile anti-LGBT rights views usually have some sort of self-hatred complex, OR they are well off and view their moneyed interests as more important than LGBT rights for all LGBT persons.

Therefore, they are usually white Americans.
