Worst current TV series
-
anyone think of a particularly bad current TV show? i absolutely hate the canned laughter of chuck lorres stuff, big band, 2 broke girls etc
-
2 Broke Girls - I just don't get it. That it comes from the same mind responsible for The Comeback boggles my mind.
However I will and do watch the shit out of anything Jennifer Coolidge graces, she is not enough alone to elevate 2 Broke Girls to anything more than the lowest point of my television viewing but I mean at least while I wallow I get a little sparkle.
That Ryan Murphy is also a hit or miss and lately I opt to miss.
You're The Worst is ready to play now, so, I think it's some of the best…

For crap TV, come to the UK
Two new series just started, "Motherland" which got rave reviews and didn't give me a smile in the first 15 minutes. It was hailed as a comedy.
And another series "We The Jury" which was just stupid, no laughs for me there

I can honestly say I don't like most of what's on TV… If it doesn't outright annoy me, it bores me to tears... I stick to syndicated shows, cartoons, local news and Investigation Discovery. That's about it.
There's plenty of things I dislike in all the stuff I do watch too, though. Most sitcoms are bland garbage, regardless of when they were made. Many cartoons are as well, if they're not just plain annoying. I always change the channel as soon as sports coverage comes on the local news, and ID has a number of shows I don't care about in the slightest. Plus, its programming tends to be extremely one-dimensional.
I think I might just be depressed or something. I can't understand how people get so excited about films and TV shows. They're almost always so boring and over-hyped to me. Or maybe it's just that I am boring. I can't get excited in the least about, say, the new Doctor Who or anything Joss Whedon touches (I can't stand his writing style anyway), but I could watch Antiques Roadshow all fucking day.
Is Grey's Anatomy still on? Fuck, I hate that show.

Holy shit. Is this true? 2 Broke Girls is one of the least funny shows I've ever seen.

Is "the 100" still on? Wow, that was a bad show.
I mean I didn't expect much when I started but that was soo terrible. I don't mind catering to teenagers but there has to be a little rest of logic.
There was none…

2 broke girls. it's horrendous.

I wrote it on the internet and you read it on the internet how could it be anything but true?
The Comeback is an American television comedy-drama series produced by HBO that stars actress Lisa Kudrow as sitcom actress Valerie Cherish in modern-day Los Angeles. It was created by Kudrow and Michael Patrick King
2 Broke Girls is an American television sitcom created for Warner Bros. Television by Michael Patrick King and Whitney Cummings.

I had no idea that The Comeback and 2 Broke Girl were created by the same guy. I do watch both shows. The Comeback is brilliant. HBO has given an open commitment to Kudrow and she can come back and do another season whenever she likes. I actually hope they wait a few more years. I think it's an interesting concept to check in on Valerie Cherish at different points of her life.
I watch 2 Broke Girls every week. Mostly I just listen in the background because they do have some pretty funny one liners. I'm surprised CBS allows it.
The other Kudrow show that is absolutely brilliant is Web Therapy. I can't believe Showtime canceled it. It has to be REALLY cheap to make. It's just two actors sitting stationary staring at a camera. It must cost next to nothing to produce. They could have kept it around a little longer.
