I just finished a 47 hour train trip in January and the time went faster than i expected. Of course that time included about 9 hours in Chicago, but the station is downtown so i was out and about for a good bit of that. But the time on the train itself, I spent reading my pad, listened to a bit of music, and talking to people in the cafe car. I did have a sleeper roomette so had privacy to sleep, but wasn't in the cabin as much as I expected. I had several movies on the pad to watch in case I got bored, but never got to them.

I like to see the scenery sometimes, especially in the mountains. Otherwise, a book and/or try to sleep.

There's a lot of options, but read is a good one, otherwise I hear music, I write articles (I'm a writer) and sometimes when I'm all alone on the train I get excited and I jerk off :fap: One train, many possibilities

I like watching the world go by, but I have been known to actually talk to other passengers, granted you get some odd looks from some, but you can have some great conversations.
