I know the written rules (the only rules that should exist btw) don't say anything about it, so it does not make sense for me to go through the effort of naming examples to be handled on a case by case basis, it is just trying to ice skate uphill, when there is nothing in the rules that discourages this behavior.

@leo2003 one last thing, not to echo what was already said by staff and other members, but a practical solution to your case:

even if your torrent has 110GB, downloading it would decrease your ratio, but you intend to add more stuff and re-upload it again (a behavior that is currently acceptable as per the site rules).

So my take is, just download it, use your ratio, and when you re-upload it you will be back to where you were before.

It was super weird that there was a request because no one could possibly be representing any of the featured people... Because no one was mentioned.

Keywords certainly play a role, images can also trigger the dmca bots. In my case I reuploaded the exact same torrent file, didn't change a byte, created a generic title that was still faithful to the content, and provided no preview whatsoever. there was a thumbnails folder, so people could still have a sneek peak. That one torrent is still up.

One reason why you don't see users bringing this up is because it is against the rules, this topic will most likely be locked soon. There really isn't anything we can do, it is the dmca lottery and some of us are more lucky 😂
