To prepare, I watched a few of the original 1980s episodes that were run on Showtime prior to the new ones being rolled out. Had forgotten so much!
Planning to binge the 18 new episodes in 3-4 consecutive nights.
Heard that due to so-so ratings, there's no "Season 4" in the works. :cry2:

I've enjoyed what I've seen. Honestly, I've stopped. Episode 8 was an art project and didn't really belong to the series, imo. I LOVE art but what he did was too over the top for television turning even me off, at least for a while. I will continue to watch it. Eventually.
Another problem is that they're taking the joke about the agent not being able to speak, not knowing how to act too far. It's gone beyond ridiculous to its own trope. In real life, he'd have been in a CAT scan. THAT might have added a new dimension, the realization that there's something not the same from the last time he went for a checkup and now.
I hope they tie up all the lose threads at the end. I hope they aren't hoping to revisit this in 30 more years.
