& side topic, separate but "adjacent".... .....that would include strangers' mental privacy. It's inconsiderate to make strangers look away from, or to see (quickly before they can look away), sexual displays - in any context when strangers should expect none.

Those who do it are not brave "taboo breakers", just dumb & rude.

Those enjoy vids of it, have some fetish where they cum from seeing strangers victimized. They may as well masturbate to war porn, for greater intensity. Internet clips of people blown up.

Nude beaches, trails & locker rooms are different because, nudity is what they're for. Those who don't like it, don't go. But all riders & even taxpayers, paid for public transport.

Symlinks seem to be more popular - people use them e.g. when moving installed games from one disk to another. I've been using them for years. Tried them with uTorrent a few years ago - and it didn't work, apparently because it's adding ".!ut" to incomplete files, and it breaks the link. Only now I tried hard links - and it works. And with DupeGuru you can even remove duplicates from overlapping packs, but still keep seeding them all, thanks to hard links.

@frostygrin i guess they changed it again recently, a mod had told me the max concurrent downloads was 8 for everyone even though the tracker reported a max of 15. I remember very well that I'd see that message in the tracker status and in the site it would show i was downloading 8 torrents... I added a bunch now just to test and it capped at 15 like you said.

DMCA laws have no effect in Russia, this is why russian trackers have basically everything. And if the domain and server are all operated by Russian companies, copyright holders are completely toothless, no one will be reading their emails 😂
