@ytutambien @DonnyDuzDick opening ports can be useless if the user is behind a CGNAT, which is becoming more frequent. Specially for larger ISPs, multiple clients share the same IP address, this makes them unreachable from any incoming traffic.
If the seeder and the leechers are all behind a CGNAT, they cannot ever connect to each other. In this case, there are very few things that one can do, like running a VPN that supports P2P port-forwarding like Proton, or using a seedbox.
But even if you do nothing, inevitably at some point a reachable user will join the swarm increase the odds for other leechers.
