I am having problems seeding. The tracker is intermittently giving an "HTTP Error 502".
I have manually updated the tracker and then for only a brief period of time does the status show as "working" then it errors out again with error 502. I have also restarted uTorrent and still have the same problem.
I am not having this issue with other trackers.
The error seems to only occur while seeding. I am seeding multiple torrents.
Error 502 on the tracker AGAIN
It seems to be happening intermittently.
Issue Is Resolved!
:thankyou:
Uwe,
Thank you! It was my "hosts" file as you had suggested. And yes, I must have at some point in the past have made an entry when there was some sort of DNS issue going on or when GTRU got a new IP that had not yet been updated on many of the DNS servers.
A very simple fix.
Thank you!
:clap2:
I am not using a proxy.
I have tried what you have suggested. I have deleted both the torrent and its data from uTorrent. I then re-downloaded the torrents and added them to uTorrent again and the tracker is still not connecting. I even tried a different torrent to eliminate the possibility that it was the other two torrents and still no connection to the tracker.
I disabled my firewall in an effort to see if that was causing the problem and still I was not able to connect to your tracker.
I then disabled UPnP in uTorrent and on my router and created a Port Forwarding entry on my router. The other trackers from other sites continue to connect and download and upload with the new port forwarding entry but GTRU tracker will not connect. I still get the same message.
The message indicates to me that the port is closed or blocking me on your end. I have not used the GTRU site in over a year to connect to a tracker. Is it possible that this could be the problem?
I am able to connect and download/upload from other trackers that are using port 2710 without any issues.
Windows XP
uTorrent 3.1.3
I am not able to connect and download.
I am getting the following message on the uTorrent Tracker Tab:
"No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it."
This is only happening with GTRU. My torrents from other sites are connecting and downloading.
I was using uTorrent 3.2.1 and I downgraded it to 3.1.3 after reading some messages in the GTRU Forums. However, I am still not able to connect and download. I also reset my passkey but I still cannot connect and download.
The two torrents that I am trying to download are:
Brandon Mckale.torrent
AmateurXXX.-.Rodeo.Rookies.02.torrent
Is this happening to others? Or, is it only affecting me?
Can you help with this?
Greetings Everybody!
I am introducing myself. My name is Woody Autumn.
I have been a member here for a few years. I introduced myself on the former forum and thought I had better do it again on the new forum.
