Do / should requests to ID a particular porn perfomer constitute an 'upload request' ? Surely an upload request is different to an ID request ?
Also just out of interest why is the new rule concerning upload requests in existance ?
Upload requests are a mainstay element of forums i belong to on other torrent sights. For eg: one of your main competitor sites https://en.gay-lounge.net/ has 4 sub-forums dedicated to posting requests including for subtitles and porn identification. So why has gaytorrent.ru restrcited this suddenly ?

Just to clarify the UK law regarding torrenting:

The UK porn laws target

1. Possession of indecent material.
2. Distribution of material likely to corrupt and deprave.
   In terms of torrenting,
3. The uploader is liable for prosecution for copyright infringement if a case is brought by a copyright owner.
4. The downloader and seeder may be subject to the 3 notice rule requesting them to stop infringement behaviours by their ISP provider.
5. For the lay person, it is my view that the police are likely to go after possession and or distribution only if a person comes under their radar. i.e. they'll check their internet footprint for options to evaluate and prosecute someone they regard as a target for investigation.

To correct your inaccuracies:

1. hi thanks - yes i have read that but as i said what does my 4 digit ratio have to be : 1.500 or 1.050 or 1.005 to be 1.05 ? The ratio consists of 4 digits so the 1.05 doesnt make any sense to me . Are you able to clarify ?

I recieved a help desk response to the original post question - aka: Why are porn star ID request posts being deleted ?

The answers are as follows:
Regarding the banning of upload requests:
"About our differences with other similar sites, we are like companies. One company may has a different set of rules and also different work ethic. The site owner/administrator concern about this issue at the moment and implement it on our site."

Regarding why porn star / scene ID requests were being taken down - the respondant misunderstood the issue but said:
"The main and the most important reason is because we care about everyone safety, regarding DMCA process. That's why we additionally prohibit users for using code name to name a torrent."

Which is ironic because members performer / scene ID request posts are being taken down in this forum because they seek to identify the person by their professional / online name - so in line with the policy and not because they seek to codify their names.

CAN THE MOD FOR THIS FORUM PLEASE STOP TAKING DOWN PERFORMER / SCENE ID REQUESTS NOW ?
