Just because he did crystal meth does not mean the guy is using dirty needles.  First one should consider how he took the meth if he injected it then he is a "slammer" and there is more risk with those users for sure.  But if he was a smoker or snorter and does not slam it then the risk is less from a dirty needle and probably more from his being a slut and having unprotected sex with others when he is high and possibly not getting tested.  But there are users who are not total tweakers who use it all the time and slut around so I would consider what type of person this guy is.  Does he do it every so often or all the time.

Some guys do it because it helps them lower their inhibitions.

I would ask him if he was undetectable and if so I would, especially if I was on PrEP, in which case I would have  bareback sex with him.
