I agree with pocothetaco, it would be a big problem if Facebook didn't allow people to do such things. It would be completely different if these people were going around and directly harassing people by posting such things on their pages,  but they aren't.

That is not completely true.

I use Sky for my broadband and they gave me a router that I am not allowed to alter with our their permission.  So I have absolutely no control over the security of my line.

This is true of most of the big broadband companies and several small BB companies as well.

I've never met anyone with ISP like that, you must have gone with a really really crappy one. At least I've never seen this happen here in the US .

Just as we have the right to express ourselves, so do they. Freedom is a two way street. No matter how much we disagree, no matter how wrong they might be they have every right to say these things. Just like we have the right to call them ignorant homophobic assholes.

It's great you brought this to light, although I'm sad to say that this didn't bother me at all, I've seen so much worse… much much worse.

People are too weak willed, ignorant, and too easily manipulated. This is the folly of man. Our own stupidity will destroy ourselves and anything that even remotely wakes in our path.
