Don't send the "get your ratio up!" message out to new users…I hadn't even been downloading an hour when I got my warning.

Give us a chance to get our ratio up before warning us...at least 1GB downloaded or something

FYI, edonkey is dead. If you try to get to the site you get a warning about courts going after people who download copyrighted material and it logs your IP address.

Try EMule

EDonkey (and a number of sites with large servers for it) were closed down, but EMule is still going strong and is much better than EDonkey ever was

As said above: As a network, EDonkey is still alive…ED2k is dead (the program)...check out hxxp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EDonkey_network for specific info on it all if you need to
