OK - thanks now I understand the statistics and differences - makes sense..btw I noticed our u/l speeds are about the same so I don't feel so bad (that my bt client is doing a bad job)…what a great site !!

I noticed that the ratio stats (in the grey bar at the top of the page) are updating but only occasionally…I seem to remember this being discussed on  demonoid forums but forgotten what the reason was...but if I stop the torrent it seems to update there and then (tracker gets it's update flag turned on??)...

Now it is updating almost with every page refresh  :o....this is strange because I didn't do anything ...I have 4 torrents seeding 2 of which are actively u/l

True but a more pertinent question is what bt client do you use and what kind of d/l and u/l speeds are u getting - wish I could figure out how to get a screen shot of my bt status screen to show that I am getting only a SMALL percentage of my ISP allocation…and if u do the test with your bt client running u get a loss!!!!
268 kbps down and 68 up on speedtest.net test just now and on my u torrent:
getting 53kbps u/l only seeding one torrent
So - I'm doing pretty good wihin my total u/l allocation and that's what you need to consider
But....
My ISP sucks and there isn't much to do about that...so in the end you are limited by that...I could u/l faster but not with this isp
Of course d/l is a different thing and is typically faster
But both depend on peer

Trouble with most is they are large city biased so us country folk don't get much interest….gay.com may actually be the best for the usa market but I hear it is bankrupt so may be going away. Gaydar is uk-centric(australia too) and gayromeo euro-centric especially germany ...guys4men.com has great forum but lousy dating results and manhunt is a pure meat market but if that is what you want it may be ok. The other sites like gaymatches etc are mostly pay-only so you don't get anything without a subscription. It take a dim view of that and usually that means they have limited reach limited result limited in general - not worth the sub. Other than that there are fetish sites like recon but it's fetish and a date for a relationship potential may be unlikely....hey that's the gay internet as I know it anyway. Someone may want to expand on this or offer their own "go through" of the sites..

It has gone down in frequency over the years but still at my "old" age (not saying how old) I get a load out every other day so 15 times a month. I could do it everyday I guess but need a continuous stream of fresh porn (um…yeah...torrent of porn) to do it...sometimes I save it up for a week and have huge load... :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
