A few people commented on Twitter at the time, they were amazed that anyone still watched porn on dvds.

It's astonishing that public money was wasted on investigating and prosecuting this. I would love to know the thought process of the individuals responsible for it going to trial, and why no one thought this would be a bad idea.

Yeah, people are used to drama and fuckary on these sites and pay no attention to useful info. Seriously, when I see people updating their status on Facebook each time they are about to go to the toilet, it makes me wanna facepalm myself to death.

I thought it was still against the law for catholics to be PM.  Elizabeth I passed that law, but things seemed to have changed over the years.

There is no legal mechanism in place for a non protestant to be PM, which would cause a "constitutional" crisis situation.

That's the problem, it's not acceptable to treat other group like crap, but treating gays like crap is perfectly acceptable.

Hmm… always a touchy issue. Does the study about 'Sex-workers' having a much higher HIV-rate than the general public go into detail about the performers' personal lives? Are we certain that the thousands of people who make porn films are celibate off-camera, or use condoms 100% of the time?

Also, I've seen several 'condom' films that don't really promote 'safe-sex'. People think that as long as the guy wears a condom for 'most' of the scene, it's OK. I've seen the same top penetrate multiple partners without changing condoms. I've seen full on penetration during 'foreplay' before the actual sex starts. I've seen 'condom' gangbangs' where tops are cumming all over the general area of the bottom's freshly torn ass, and continuing to fuck.

Some people are vehemently opposed to 'bareback sex' because they're in the mindset that it promotes HIV infection. And for me, it comes down to personal responsibility. I can't blame a porn film if I choose to go out and have unsafe sex with strangers. In fact, my porn collection is about 95% bareback, and I've been having sex for almost 15 years, and I'm still HIV negative.

Quite correct. It should be at the responsibility of the indiviuals participating in the film to have the proper testing done prior to engaging in such activities. The practices demonstrated in most films also don't leave much for the lines of "low risk" activity, even when condoms are used. They're only effective when used properly, which in most cases is just not the case.
