This site already is private and sign ups aren't open lol; the site is indexed by Google, so if you search for some more niche OF creators and they have (or had) a torrent uploaded, you'll find it on google, usually pretty high too. To my knowledge there absolutely are ways to make it so Google can't do that. What's also interesting is that googling and finding removed content was my first time actually seeing the DMCA category icon lol.

The reporter(s) likely have a membership.
It's not hard to find people swapping invites to this and other torrent sites.

Lol i just witnessed one of the daily wipes after sorting through which I wanted, so I can safely confirm they are being FAR more aggressive than even the Wrestling site take down requests, which is NUTS.

@forthepaul It seems that only white OF content creators are being deleted really quickly. The rest does get deleted but not as fast.

I really don't buy that at all lol. (I want to type something here about a certain category used instead of fansite that stays up longer but don't want to hurt any uploaders. Just check around yourself)

To top it off they'd need to be uploaded at a nearly equal rate to even make that statement and having seen the things uploaded to this site even when we don't have someone reporting torrents 7 days a week, was never the case.

Fansites are heavily targeted by the entity we're discussing, some fetish sites with really expensive clips like wrestling (which sadly don't stay up long enough to see which actually have sex) and jockfootf**tasy (I cannot believe their clips go up to 50 bucks a piece!) are hyper aggressive even without the help of this fansite person.

Ive had plenty of creators who are non white open in tabs to download later deleted lol, and it usually hurts more because I know unlike brandts boys they won't be uploaded every single day of the week.

I don't know about 5 years but here are my observation if it's helpful. something like this happened exactly a year ago and if followed similar pattern. somewhere in early September of 2021 there was a similar wave of torrent takedowns. In fact it was kind of worse, looked like a full on purge of fans content. it gained traction through autumn and people then noticed it too, you can probably find that thread. Just like now it got really bad through November, when torrents sometimes disappeared minutes after getting uploaded. The dialogue on the forum was similar to this one, some newer members were confused, prophesized the end of the world to the site, theories about bots sweeping this place, also dominant theory was that it was an actual person, no one was actually sending those DMCAs, but it was a specific mod tasked in controlling the situation. some user even theorized that he was an American living on a west coast based on the patterns and timings of deletions. An interesting development happened on American thanksgiving weekend, the crazy takedown wave suddenly stopped as if it never was. People in the thread theorized that the mod was having a thanksgiving holiday and will return after the weekend but nothing happened. I remember being quite happy after seeing the first torrents of December 2021, OF content and rips were posted as usual, and weren't taken down the very next day, the fan sites category wasn't targeted anymore. For some time I thought that it was too good to be true but no for a year everything was back to normal, from December all the way to September 2022. I started posting again after hiatus carefully categorized content, with description and everything. When the similar wave started now I was hoping there would be a similar pattern and it will all end in the end of November, my prediction almost came true when after this thanksgiving weekend the takedowns stopped and lots of OF content was posted in the last three days. But nope, this Monday the strict takedowns resumed. The last time everything turned nice again in the first day of December, if the situation will continue like this then I don't know. If this will be a new status quo of the site that would be a bummer, because after uploading terabytes of stuff I guess I will take a more passive role. This is all I remember about last years wave and my observations. There were of course always some studios that weren't allowed here, but nothing like this. Hope this is not permanent and December would be calmer.

Yup, this is exactly how it happened, down to the detail of this being a person on an extremely specific schedule.
I figured they'd stop after thanksgiving again too, it seemed to me last time new years was the big stopping point.

The timing of this is interesting there are probably plenty of people uploading and dumping OF accounts due to most OF creators having sales the past 2-3 weeks because of fear of Twitter going down + "Black Friday deals". I've even subbed to some I've been waiting to go on sale.

I can't even fault people for feeling like taking a break on uploading or not providing really thorough screenshots if its taken down in minutes.I know from just ripping for myself thats hours and hours of time.

Sadly still happening. There was one I wanted but it was like over 100 gigs because people just do full rips with little screenshots. I was going to download today but refreshed the tab and poof. It lasted a full day at least.

@dilemmax That I have no idea of there are likely ways. I doubt most people posting OF dumps are doing that considering some people just post 3 singular images that aren't screencaps for like 40 gigs of videos.

OF doesn't add those automatically, RFC does and their videos aren't removed as fast as some recent fansite posts.

I'm not even sure it's the issue at all.

Digital prints are mainly for finding who uploaded them, not just general removal.
Additionally the file would need to be actually downloaded to use the finger print and the action would be banning that persons account.

The re-encoded videos I like are the ones that generally keep the quality and reduce the size. The ai enhanced upscaling is very hit or miss for retro videos but always cool to see for videos that don't have much bigger than like 480x480 around lol.

Like there is a moderator on this page saying that their own content got a DMCA takedown, their OWN content and you are wagging the "it must be rules" stick.

I am aware things get removed when they break the rules, I have read them.

      @drekkin
At this point I don't know what to say anymore. At no point did i say mods can't remove files for breaking rules, if you can find this, please feel free to directly quote it.

You seem to be incredibly convinced that weeks worth of OF files are being removed in minutes due to mods deleting them due to rule breaks.

I am saying that last year there was a thread where people who uploaded content and people who downloaded it noticed patterns to immediate file deletion that lessened during certain times of the day and certain days of the week and then it stopped.

Unless you are the one personally deleting the files you aren't adding anything to the discussion beyond casting doubt on the people who are saying there may be other reasons. Unless you are under the belief they are all being taken down while they are downloaded because they are all breaking the rules linked.

If that's what you believe than that's great. I get it you think every single OF file being removed is only a rule break, you've made it clear. Everyone else seems to think otherwise, especially considering some are updates on files listed on site already.

      Thanks for the input.

@lololulu19 By quality i just mean overall - is the title accurate, is this a file that is easily searchable already, does the torrent contain like 3 copies of the same large files, usually those are handled once comments come in.

Ive sometimes seen something from this site get reuploaded to another torrent site a day after and then re-uploaded here a day after. Those are cases where fast removal makes sense but none are as fast as we've seen fansite videos disappear lately.

It was just me getting at the point that torrents getting removed within an hour or less is unusual even when its for valid reasons, so enormous sweeping accurate DMCA removals feel even less likely, especially somehow instantly recognizing all fansite content in particular.

@drekkin Yep, I'm aware of the rules and the torrents I've seen deleted didn't break those.

@drekkin I think you're missing that some are being deleted before the quality can be verified.

I have my doubts that the last week of OF files are mysteriously that much lower quality than the previous dumps.

Typically the moderators here yes do delete torrents that need to be, poor quality, viruses etc but when duplicates are deleted the older version is usually bumped.

Proof is usually right in looking by upload dates at the fansite category. It goes from like 1 day to 1 week.

The straight category has more recent torrents than the fansite category on its first page and I see new torrents on fansite every few hours.

It seems like we all know the issue at this point. Its not the first time it's happened. It's more aggressive than it's ever been in the past.

I don't know that this is the case of people being paid for specific creators, bots are intelligent but not foolproof, some of the content taken down are also on other torrent engines. Even some of the notoriously aggressive sites (like the european one with guys who barely touch eachother, the wrestling ones that are rarely even actually porn and the photographer that takes super high def pics of european dudes that are pretty softcore) don't 24/7 check and confirm for take down reports lol and I'm seeing some torrents up for about 10 minutes and just grabbing because I'm like "well I guess I can decide if I'll keep it later my ratio is good" and most are deleted well before they finish.

Some of the videos taken down are even available on some tube sites.

Whoever is making this many requests isn't being selective but just massively reporting incredibly quickly but more actively during certain hours of the day.

I obviously can't tell, but it seems just like last time this happened, the fansite category is being targeted hardest. There are some other studios and owners that regularly get removed, T~M, B~dytorium, RFC~ub, BBAdditi~ns - but it seems like whenever they get SUPER over the top with reporting its like anything from that category that is recently uploaded. Even things that are already uploaded on site but not updated, or also placed in other categories.

I know DMCA requests with something like this are incredibly sensitive and not open for much discussion but I do hope some sort of strategy is considered.

@dilemmax Yeah it hasn't been this bad in a while. Before some files would stick even after the DMCA's it seems like this is a full sweep.

The worst part is it absolutely will discourage people from sharing if what they upload keeps getting deleted in less than 6 hours. The sites not super easy to build ratio on considering how huge some of the rips were getting to begin with.

@drekkin The Main reason I mentioned google indexing is because someone (and myself) have simply just googled creators before and found takedown requests for DMCA through google. Last year during the last quarter of the year it was an outrageous amount per day.

@drekkin Makes sense, not hard to get a content match when there's the no obscuring the name rule + individual torrent pages being indexed by Google for whatever reason. I'd imagine they'd stick around if not for that.

@krad3434 Not to double post, but its also incredibly obvious when its happening. Right now for instance, torrents from 5 days ago are able to be found in the fansite category on page one when it is EASILY the most uploaded to category.

    • RE: Vanishing torrents ...

This happened last year, where basically most of the daily uploads in the fansite category were deleted within like 12 hours of being posted from like October until like January. If you wanted anything in those categories you pretty much needed to be there to see it uploaded.

It doesn't help that more people are discovering the site and sharing links with no masking AND the site is for some reason indexed by Google. As google search becomes weirder this site pops up first page pretty easily when searching for some creators and they are able to DMCA incredibly effectively.

Its the downside of popularity. So there are less studio videos, more OF videos, people google them more, find this site, including the creators, it gets DMCA'ed. There also seems to be someone like almost hired to just report whatever pops up on the site en masse.

Other private torrent sites don't deal with this because the site owners don't let them get annexed by Google Searches. At this point I imagine its almost too late, I have no doubts some creators literally just join the site to report things.
