Here's something I hadn't noticed before. Today someone posted a couple of torrents that contain two files; both files have been previously uploaded, but the thing is that both files are of the same film/scene (not two different scenes, which are a collection and therefore not duplicates). It seems to me to be a gray area; not strictly duplication, but not really a collection either. What do folks think - are these collections or duplicatets? I give the two files below:

Dupe removal will be based on the format and size (exact or <10% difference) of the video, accompanying pictures (zip, .rar, png, jpeg, bmp etc) are irrelevant)

Okay to make it simple, your example, yes it's a dupe, and by now the dupe has been removed

Actually, I've first watched the American version of this back in 2007 (my brother bought the whole 5 season when he went in US) and I loved it, so I got curious of the UK version of this which was aired a year earlier than the US version and after watching the whole season 1 & 2, I loved it a tad bit more.

Whereas the US version although very funny has lots of seriousness in it's version during Season 1, UK version has a lot of humour in everything even though the topic is serious. Even the lesbo scene was relegated to minor story and it always includes either one or all of the 3 lead characters.

Aiden Gillen who plays Stuart Jones is perfect for the part (and I'm glad Christopher Eccleston recommended him when he deem that he is not suited for the part), not a hunky type of man, Aiden has that devilishly handsome face you would often sees in a male model, he has a nice teenage boy body and looks young for his age.

Craig Kelly as the naive and lovable Vince Tyler who is always insecure about his look is also perfect for the part that although he has a pleasant open face, men would always prefer the looks of the character Stuart.

Charlie Hunnam who plays the twink Nathan Maloney is adorable as they came and his lines are so funny especially when he delivers his diatribes about running away to London and getting murdered. He looks 15 going on 16 (he is 18 going 19 at that time), from his own mouth he did say that although he has done frontal in this series, censorship did not allowed it to be shown on TV (even in the deleted scene and extended scenes, it is not shownwhich is a pity)

Even the supporting cast are all good especially the mother of Vince Tyler, Hazel (Denise Black) their sort of singsong English Accent are just lovably funny.

Already rename the title of that torrent

@kayalaan: Aha! Now I understand! The Xpirement was a kinda/sorta red herring, in that there is no video file. Thanks mucho for explaining.

So my question from Jan 7 still stands - whether a new upload of the same file but with pictures (zipped or not) is a duplicate (with the poivisio that it isn't grouped together with other files of course).

@ben351500 I am replying to 2 different queries, the first one involve vid with pics as against video only (The Bundling topic post)

The second one (this topic post) both contains images only with rar as against jpg/png breakdown pictures. No Video included in the last question regarding Xperiment which is a magazine

There is the torrent "XPERIMENT Vol.01 - KENDO BOY" and the torrent "XPERIMENT volume one". The contents is identical (the same pictures of the same size, resolution and format type). However, "XPERIMENT volume one" is arranged as a single RAR file while "XPERIMENT Vol.01 - KENDO BOY" (which is younger) is the subdirectory with pictures. I reported that these are the duplicates (however, no reply yet). Is it really true that the packing/repacking of the files creates new torrent which is formally different in its format?

The thing is, when you extract the .rar file (we allowed that for images, magazines and cartoons except for videos), the file size of that torrent is still the same, so it's more than 10% difference, i.e. not a dupe
