Poland is very conservative, especially compared to you.
Pre-Brexit, the UK and Germany paid the bills for the EU. Sure, France helped a bit, but the 2 biggest money providers were the UK and Germany.

Right. Every Polish person is conservative. Just like every Brit is a racist Brexiter. It's clear you haven't been closely following the political and social situation here, and probably don't have a wide-circle of Polish friends.

And while it is true that Poland received a lot of EU money, let's not pretend that is was given without serving both Western European security and financial interests. Polish industries were bought for a song after 2004, and EU investment in infrastructure has benefitted Western European investors enormously with highly educated, skilled cheaper labor.

I've worked my ass off my entire life, and even though I should be retired now, I continue to do so. You are constantly wrong, not about everything, but about many things, because you presume to know everything about everything and everyone. A little humility would serve you well.

As a side note, it's strange that a leftist would live in pretty conservative Poland. Poland is the biggest beneficiary of EU money since they get the most from the EU, so I guess the scrounger side is there for you to love. Pre-Brexit, the UK and Germany were the biggest losers when it came to EU money since we poured it in and got virtually nothing back.
