RE: UTorrent and the MPAA
I remember hearing about that over a year ago. From what I recall, the situation was that the BitTorrent company cooperated with the MPAA by only removing certain links from their website.
I remember the panic set off by the sell of uTorrent for many different reasons and everyone said to switch to older version 1.6 because the new version might contain some tracking.
uTorrent version v1.7 and v1.7.1 were banned from many private trackers because of issues reported that those versions did not report stats correctly to trackers. Those issues have all been cleared up.
As far as I know uTorrent is safe to use. :hmmm:

RE: I Guess This is The End 4 Me…
wouldn't using the solution at hXXp://www.whalesalad.com/2006/08/27/tunneling-bittorrent-over-ssh/ using SSH client be the same as using a proxy? So it wouldn't work here, at GTru, because proxies are not allowed? Is that right?

RE: I Guess This is The End 4 Me…
hopefully raphjd's link will help solve your dilema!
This is about as much as I can help: Have a look at: "Comcast Denies Interfering with BitTorrent"
hxxp://torrentfreak.com/comcast-wrongfully-denies-interfering-with-bittorrent/Maybe a solution posted in the comments section will offer help. Even the original link, "comcast-throttles-bittorrent-traffic…" has comments that may help.
Sorry I do not know which will help or if any. I have read about using Linux, VPN's, and of course there is the most old fixes, using encryption and changing ports to non a standard port (this doesn't work much anymore). Linux usesr seem to say they have the solution by blocking the reset packets. "iptables -A INPUT -p tcp ?dport $TORRENT_CLIENT_PORT ?tcp-flags RST RST -j DROP" Maybe setting up a linux machine for torrents?
Is FIOS avaliable in your area, they offer faster, more stable service for less. But I am guessing it's not, it's a no brainer to switch for anyone haveing problems with Comcast!
I am fortunate that FIOS is in my area! If anyone can give you a working solution, that would be great, and for everyone I add! - good luck and hope your get it sorted out!
I did read this, "setting up a secure connection through VPN or over SSH seems to be the only workaround" at hxxp://blogs.zdnet.com/ip-telephony/?p=2217
"using a SSH Shell" is suposed to be a good work around for this problem, raphjd's link may be very promising!

RE: Which inspires you more? Porn or Themed?
I myself have been pressed lately to see some really new GOOD porn. I want some HOT porn! Looking for some porn that is a little more psychologically stimulating, that makes you fantasize (or makes you want to be there) about being there involved in the action, porn that adds elements to your fantasies. Fantasies usually are better than the real thing.
I guess it's like sex (or maybe it is - LOL) even bad sex is good sex. Gay porn doesn't inspire me to do much but JO :shifty:
I do enjoy the themed movies. Which inspires me more, I?d have to say the themed movies. Which would I like to see when I am horny, porn needless to say.

RE: Porn with an argument.
I also find porn with some plot or a beginning with some situation or circumstances of seduction hot. It makes the sex even hotter. As long as it?s not campy or dim-witted, that ruins it. The pursuit and the seduction of it all sometimes is as hot as the sex. It really can get some ?creative juices? going! I remember seeing some very hot porn with erotically stimulating, enticing story lines but can?t remember their titles or the producers. Thanks SunGuru and mgr, I?ll have to have a look into those. Any other recommendations very much appreciated.
