I had some homophobic friends until I realised they were not actually my friends.

You should ask your school counselor for help. If that's not a possibility, then seek out a therapist. If your parents are not listening or are not bothered by it, you ask your best friend whom you can trust or a favorite aunt who might be able to help you.

Be careful with dating apps like grindr and stuff. These are strangers and you might never know whether they are bashers or not. If you are dependent on your parents financially, get a strong password on your computer, a stronger lock for your room and have sex on the internet. If you are looking for friends, try searching for LGBT associations that might be present in your town or the nearest major city. Be careful and take care of yourself. All the best.

You know your friends and family much better than any of us could. I would start with the person I think would have an understanding of the idea, and someone who thinks it is okay to be gay. But it is always better to open up to your very best friend and then build a bit of confidence towards telling your family. I told my best friend who is straight, and even though he is uncomfortable around gay people, he said its perfectly fine and nothing has changed. I really wish that you can find someone who can understand you in this way. It is also advisable to see a therapist because they really can help you understand what you are actually afraid of and I spoke to my school counselor who is a very nice lady.

I think I might understand what you are saying. If you are friendly, people will use you and then not care. Don't stop being friendly but try to understand your own self-interest just a little…

You know people say that younger siblings are usually gay but both these guys I dated once were the eldest of many siblings and they were gay. So I don't know what that means. And I think I am the only gay one in the family, I am absolutely sure of it.
