I have just downloaded a file, let's says it's called 'A&B.wmv'. If I rename it to 'A & B.wmv', does the torrent software still recognise the file such that it can upload?

Is there a way to 'ban' certain categories from appearing in one's own search results? I know this is possible for straight and bisexual category but what about others? Personally I don't fancy certain categories and would prefer not to see results of those. So, is there any method for this?
