Hi, I have been trying to use biglyBT but I'm getting tracker offline error, so for some reason it's not able to connect the gaytorrent.ru tracker. I tried on a different pc whic had windows freshly installed but no luck. I'm able to download via Vuze on the same pc and I'm also able to download from other trackers on biglyBT but it just does not work on gaytorren.ru.

I'm curious if the biglyBT is banned or something?

Hi, I have a torrent that I would like to take down but I couldn't find how. Is it possible to do this and if so how?

I have been there too, then I uploaded the file to virus total and tried out the anti-viruses that were able to detect the virus.
I suggest you install ESET, it deletes the files right after you finish downloading if it is infected.

I have been a member here for many years and never came across any malware until recently. Someone is constantly uploading infected .scr files. I do not know if it is technically possible but can't you just forbid .scr files from being uploaded and resolve this completely?

Also IMO you should directly suspend accounts that upload infected files without even giving them notice.

This has happened to me like 5 times already, someone is uploading torrents that look like genuine uploads with file names, pictures, and file size-wise but if you pay attention you will realize that the file extension is .scr, which corresponds to windows screen saver. These are obviously contaminated. I suggest everyone pay attention to file extensions before opening the downloaded files and installing Eset Nod32, while the previous antiviruses I used failed to detect the malware, Eset deleted the file as soon as download was finished.

Also, I'm wondering what actions are being taken by staff when something like this is spotted. These fake uploads just keep popping up. Do you straight ban the user? Would it be possible to block .scr files from being uploaded and resolve this completely?
