Conservatives conspiracies and memes are funnier (all Obama/Hillary related stuff).
I believe it is because left's hysteria is pushed top-down by the media controlled by elites.

(I'm myself Russian and approximately a classical liberal, but Trump is godlike for me)

Some say that there are too many "marxist" professors in academia.
Maybe they are able to indoctrinate people into stuff that is incompatible with religion.
Maybe even incompatible in the longer term or cumulatively.
