After a long period of being offline, I saw my ratio being a little low so I decided to download this ratio lift torrent:

However, after the night it finished downloaded, it significantly lowered my ratio and added over 20Gigs to my download size count.

I'm to understand that ratio lift torrents are NOT supposed to affect the ratio as they are extended freeleech torrents, so what's the deal?
