I know this thread is old but I would like to point out something that most new uploaders don't realize, The torrent approval queue is not a parking place for your torrents.  If you have prepared 3 torrents then please upload them one at a time.  When the first one is complete the you can upload another.

What you can't see and admins and mods can is the actual approval queue.  If you "park" a torrent or two then it forces mods to review the torrent for approval several times.  This is to prevent duplicates mainly but adds alot of work on approving mods.

For example right now there are about 50 torrents up for approval but almost half of them are "parked".  Even though they are invisible on the tracker we see them in our queue.

I love new content when presented in a singular fashion from an uploader. Did that make any sense or did it make things more confusing? :crazy2:

For a couple of years now I have been posting links to filled request and moving them to the filled thread.  I try to delete filled request when the torrent dies or the filled request is a year old.

Also if a request is not filled in 6 months I deleted it.  The requester can ask for it again any time after that.

Finally if a user does not bump his own request in 90 days, I delete it because he(she) obviously lost interst in the video or found it elsewhere.

If anyone has any suggestion on how to further streamline this process please let me know. I am always open to easier ways to do things.

Should there be an actual "grace period" for new users?  Or maybe a training thread in the forums that must be read before a new user gets himself(herself) into to much trouble.

You'll be amazed at how many computer harddrives go bad when a ratio is below the minimum required. :rotfl:
Why is it the members with good ratios never loose everything with a pc crash?  ???

Other than torrents(here and elsewhere) I was wondering if there are any other places our members get porn?

I use hotfile and megaupload alot for medium size file like the ASG and BaitBus stuff but I refuse to use limewire or bearshare or anything like them.

I do alot of I.T. work and I would say about 74% of my work comes from p2p networks delivering malware to a customers pc.

Just curious if members think our rules are still too strict or are they balanced to benefit those who work hard to upload and seed great content.  No judgement here, I just want to here some candid points of view.

With our new seed bonus point program I am just curious if members go back and gift uploaders for their hard work and rate the torrents they have downloaded in do they just "hit and run"?

I upload plenty and I now get lots of thank yous and SBPs.

Well over three years have passed since this came up in discussion so I am curious if anyone feels the forums are still quiet?  With the Porn section, Special Interest Groups and our up and coming Media Links sections have we created a true community?
