RE: MKV format alert! The audio is NOT compatible with major video players
It's not even about being a connoisseur, really – it's simply a great format and that's why it's not only becoming more mainstream, but also more commonly supported. To tell people not to use it is like telling drivers to switch to horseback. Technology advances - that's life.

RE: Michael Fitt - Where he went
That's not good at all. Between 12 and 15? Ugh. Thanks for sharing though

RE: Meeting gay friends with agoraphobia
I have some agoraphobia, anxiety, and avoidant personality disorder. Very difficult finding guys and can be pretty depressing, but I've been teaching myself to go out a bit each day and try at least… not sure I'm date material yet but working on it
Hey there. I also have agoraphobia, which is rare enough, but I have Avoidant Personality Disorder, too. I'm glad you are working on going outside. You're in therapy, right? Personality disorders are SOOO hard to overcome.
I think that my AVPD caused my agoraphobia. My fear of being ridiculed or mocked became so strong, I stopped going to places where that might happen. Now, that is not a professional diagnosis. Just a personal belief.
Anyway, I wish you success in your efforts to overcome this (to me) debilitating disorder.
Essentially self-prescribed treatment. The act of actually seeking out treatment is incredibly intimidating to me. I know you shouldn't self diagnose but I've never read about something and thought "that's 100% me" like I have with AvPD. I got super emotional when researching it as it pretty much explains my entire existence. I have made efforts to work on it in the past but then completely regressed. You are so right, it's extremely difficult to overcome! Recently I've tried a bit harder, with loneliness starting to really hurt. I've started to feel like the clock is ticking on my life and I haven't experienced so many things. The next step might be therapy but I don't know how to cross that bridge.
Your theory on the agoraphobia makes total sense, by the way. The fear of rejection starts to become a fear of any public place or activity. It's completely debilitating.
Thank you for the kind words and I wish you the best as well!

Currently playing Bloodborne – on NG+, trying to make my way through the chalice dungeons, but wow the difficulty spikes quickly.
Also playing Wasteland 2 on PC

RE: Upcoming Games For 2015 Going Into 2016
Persona 5
Fallout 4, if it even comes out within that time period.
Until Dawn looks like some cheesy ass horror fun.
Kingdom Hearts 3
Dark Souls 3 (possibly)
Rise of the Tomb Raider, although I am not buying an Xbone so hopefully it eventually comes to PS4 or PC. -
RE: Scariest game
Hmm I've tried to play FNAF to see what the fuss is about but it just seems like a cheap jump scare simulator, like Slender, LOL
To me it was Clock Tower for the PS1 - it was the first scary game I ever played and I would have nightmares about it when I was little. When a man with scissors jumps out of a painting, you know shit's real, lol. After that I'd say SH2.

RE: What is the best game you've ever played?
Depends on the genre. Dragon Age: Inquisition shot to the top for me. Holy crap.
I came here to say basically the same thing. I've been "binge playing" the Dragon Age series and it's fantastic. Origins was great but Inquisition is fucking phenomenal. The only games in recent history that have been so impactful to me so quickly were Fallout 3 and Dark Souls.
Otherwise, I would have said Silent Hill 2, Shadow of the Colossus, or Final Fantasy 6. Those are some of my favs, anyway.

RE: Xbox One vs Playstation 4
I recently bought a ps4 and it's pretty cool, but I don't like that you can't use external harddrives with it, essentially rendering it useless as a home media device. The games this year look awesome, though.
