I would imagine that to some degree, muscular guys/bodybuilders have a bit of an ego - I mean you basically have to if you're going to devote so much time and energy + blood/sweat/tears towards sculpting your body. It's practically a lifestyle change - diet and exercise/weighttraining to get built - so yea, I'd expect muscular guys to have some level of egotism if they pour so much time into molding their physiques.

I used to offer a "spladle" bounty for guys on the wrestling team. I mean, in addition to being considered a pin (so a win for them) - it's a sadistically humiliating move - look it up. That's probably the first thing most wrestlers think of when you ask them about "torture" moves.

To add to my comment above - the only shyness you see nowadays are at local gyms/health/fitness clubs. I don't understand why guys go to the gym to work out/lift weights/exercise - in order to make themselves look good - but are shy about changing in the lockerrooms. I notice a lot of guys will drive home to shower or if they shower at the gym, will wear a bathing suit or underwear, then they will change with a towel wrapped around their waist. Silly  :cheesy2:

It's not a matter of being shy - military men are more comfortable around their "brothers in arms" considering all that they go through. In boot camp/basic training for instance, the showers are community. There shower room has maybe eight or so shower heads in them and the guys don't get enough time to shower with some privacy. You end up being more concerned about washing up and staying clean then whoever may be watching.

When I was deployed to Iraq, we didn't have any actual shower facilities in the field. Especially out of the question if you were at a FOB (Forward Operating Base) or outpost - where you are really away from the massive bases. Our shower consisted of heating up water in a giant container and wiping down that way. There was very little privacy - not that anyone really cared or ogled since we all considered one another to be almost like brothers.

Staying hydrated is a must - that means lots of clear fluids (water) - not soda or other junk.

Exercise helps - a good clean diet as well. Chips/junk food tends to cause breakouts. Stress related for some.

Try the suggestions above - buy some medicated cleansing pads and use them once or twice daily to keep your facial pores clear of dirt/oil/ick.  :cheesy2:

Unfortunately, for some people - no matter what you do - acne could also be hereditary.

I think it's different in the military - especially in my capacity as a Corpsman (look that up if you don't know what a Corpsman is). Since I was in a medical/health provider type of capacity, I didn't see the situation in a sexual light. These Marines were very comfortable around me and thought nothing of it when asked to get undressed. In any other situation - it's probably not a good idea to ask a Marine to remove his clothes unless you're asking for a beating =O.

As far as checking out other friends… I do it on occasion - but it's almost natural. I think guys in general check out each other's junk. There are a few places out there that still have "communal" style bathrooms - where rather than piss at your own urinal, you piss into a shared urinal. There are no privacy guards. You just unzip, stick it out and piss into the same urinal as everyone else.

We were stationed over in Iraq and during the summers it was so hot that most of them would sleep in only their (very loose) boxer shorts or even nude. We were all "blood brothers", so most of them never really thought anything was weird about it.

And how was it like in the morning, when guys would wake up with morning wood. That must have been heaven. I want all the details. :surprise:

Well naturally most if not all of them would have morning wood. After all, Marines are one of the healthiest group of people on the planet. It wasn't anything that was a big deal really. As their Corpsman, they felt comfortable around me when it came to having their junk examined and checked out. As "brothers", and given the blazing Iraqi heat, there wasn't any other choice if you wanted to get a good night's sleep.

There wasn't much in terms of privacy really. Even the outhouses in more remote outposts where Portapotties were not available, we would have a outhouse with three circles cut over a slab of wood where you'd do your duty openly with no privacy shades. You'd poop or pee into a barrel beneath each circle.

Oddly enough, I wasn't as interested in seeing their cocks as I am now - after the fact. It's a different feeling then, because we really saw each other as brothers - considering all the crap and chaos that went on over there. Now that I'm out, I have a regular day job/going to college - I can look back and realize how lucky I was to be around all that nudity without anyone saying anything. If I stared at a Marine's junk or whatever, I could just as easily pass it off as "Corpsman stuff" and again, like I said, my Marines were always comfortable around me since I was their "Doc".
