At school the the other day, our physics class somehow managed to talk about homosexuality. Now, the teacher, who's christian, BTW, brought up the argument "my ass is for pooping". I came to the conclusion that that argument is flawed, and could backfire on the hardcore christians/catholics because:

It assumes that: If you are homosexual,you WILL have anal sex. (As opposed to 'normal vagina sex'.) [i.e. gay men [color=#FF0900]WILL have sex with men]
Thus: If you are heterosexual, you WILL have sex with someone of a different gender. [i.e. straight men [color=#FF0900]WILL have sex with women]

Conclusion:

Priests who have sex with children (or other people) are in fact, not priests, since they have broken their abstinence vow.
The remaining, priests, do not have sex with women, thus they are not straight, therefore they are all gay.

Just started taking modalert Modafinil yesterday, still experimenting with the dosage.

My 'modafinil diary'
Day 1: (Yesterday)
I took 100mg in the morning and another 100 midday (cut the 200mg pill in half), and it kept me awake when I need to. Period.

Day2: (Today)
Took a 200mg pill when i woke up (around 7:45). And to make sure yesterday's result isn't just some placebo effect, I plan on taking 100mg around 22:00 and see if that'll keep me awake for the whole night.

Day3: (Plan for tomorrow)
If I do go without sleep for 24 hours, then that means the pills are 'real'. so I guess I'll take 200mg at 7:00 and go to school. Then order some more, since by then I'll only have around 16 pills left.

So far, from what I've experienced, Modafinil keeps me awake in a somewhat 'robotic' way. (Again, at this stage, it might be a placebo effect). My eyelids were never heavy, I did hours of maths and physics on end, and there's this little urge to write/type stuff. It is easier to concentrate, and I didn't even feel tired after working through tons of mathematical proof, differentiation, integration, sin/cos/tan identity questions.

Here's a question for all of you who are already using Modafinil:

How much do you take in a 24-hour period?
And how? All at once? 2/3/4/times a day?

What's the longest period of time you've gone without sleep?

And, what brand are you taking? Mine's Modalert, I bought 20*200mg for £12, but I'm THINKING of buying the 'proper' brand, Provigil, which is much much much more expensive, and the website I'm ordering from only has the 100mg versions (the 100 and 200mg's prices don't differ much, so I'd have to pay double for the same dosage)
P.S. I've sent an email to my insurance company to see if they'll cover the cost of buying modafinil off the internet, if they do, then price won't be an issue:D .

Personally I haven't experienced any side effects, aside from my pee smelling a bit weird, but that doesn't affect my social life, or my studies or anything. They said side effects include insomnia, but I fell asleep within 10 minutes of getting in bed.

And lastly, where do you get it from? As in, mine's made in India by sun pharma, and the company selling the stuff is in Hong Kong (does that sound dodgy???lol).
