The military is going to run out of patience with him. Anyone can clearly see that Trump is unfit for this job. He will not have military support for much longer.

RE: Not kidding - Boy Scouts will now allow girls to join! ???
I don't see what the big deal is. I was a Boy Scout. Our Troop leader had 2 sons and 2 daughters. While the daughters weren't official members or anything they spent a lot of time with us. Nobody ever gave it a second thought. Scouting is a family venture. Always has been.
I thought the issue was that the Girl's Scouts didn't have to integrate boys but the Boy Scout's did. If the GS want to create a space for girls then so too should the boys be allowed one.
The organizations are completely separate. They have nothing to do with another. The Girl Scouts will likely follow suit in a year or two. They probably want to see how this plays out for the Boy Scouts first. It was only a few years ago when the Boy Scouts were at the Supreme Court. The Girl Scouts likely don't want that kind of attention.

RE: Is asking a person out on a date who has already said no again sexual harassment
I've been thinking a lot about this lately and I really think that this isn't going to end well for women. Men are pigs and men want sex. We have all had met "straight" men and I'm sure all of us have had sex with a few of them. If I was a straight guy I would be terrified to even look at a woman these days! It's a lot easier for them to just have sex with other dudes.

RE: Is it okay to bring young children to gay pride? How about in drag?
I wouldn't bring my child to Pride. It's too sexual.

RE: What is the argument AGAINST allowing insurance to be sold across state lines?
I would rather eat Hillary's snatch then get anywhere near a naked Trump.

RE: Not kidding - Boy Scouts will now allow girls to join! ???
I don''t understand why Conservatives are so butt hurt over this. This is a private group. A decade ago they were allowed to ban gays because they were a private group and Conservatives cheered when they won that fight because they didn't want the government interfering with what a private group does.
Now these same people are complaining about a private group making their own rules privately as they have always done.

RE: Who should pay more for insurance?
Sick people are less likely to have the ability to pay. Let's say little Charlie Gard was an American and he survived. He will be sick his entire life and need lots of medical care. Assuming ObamaCare is repealed the moment he turns 18 he will need to find his own insurance. How will he afford it? The poor kid will have spent 18 years fighting for his life only to die at age 18 because he doesn't have the ability to pay? That's silly…..

RE: What is the argument AGAINST allowing insurance to be sold across state lines?
Nobody receives Hospice services for 15 years. Medicare actually caps it at six months (which is a long time for this service) and it's rather difficult to continue with the services via Medicare. Hospice is for end of life care. It's basically when treatment has stopped and you are just trying to make the patient comfortable until they die.
People rarely die when they are expected to. They also don't die when their insurance coverage runs out (although sometimes I wonder…).
Just in my very limited personal experience:
My aunt was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer that had gotten to her lymph nodes. She was told she would be gone within 3 months. She lasted over a year.
My dad's 2nd wife's mother had all sorts of medical problems including severe dementia, heart problems, diabetes, legs swollen up like tree trunks.. could not walk, could not even operate her wheelchair.. and lingered like that for 15 years.
My grandfather had rheumatism as a child which gave him what is called a "rheumatic heart" that is like a time bomb. He was told several times that he needed heart surgery to fix some problem, but he refused. But then, when he was quite frail and weak, he consented to the heart surgery. Unfortunately, by the time he consented to the surgery, they told him he was too frail and weak to survive the surgery and they would not do it. He was in a wheelchair that he could not operate, and in a motorized hospital bed at home, and wearing an oxygen mask for over 2 years before dying.
My sister in law had severe multiple sclerosis, attempted suicide with an intentional fall - leaving her a quadraplegic with broken vertebrae in her neck. That left her head fused at a 30% angle. She couldn't talk, the pupils of her eyes were unresponsive, on a feeding tube, and looked like a corpse for over 15 years before her heart gave out. My idiot brother fought to keep her alive so he could continue to collect her benefits. He kept her in a vegetative state of hell just so he could live off the income of wher benefits.Your straight brorher?
;D
My oldest brother is one of those few people that are 100% straight. He doesn't care what a woman looks like, nor how obnoxious they are. If they have a source of income (benefits) and can tolerate him, he is goo goo gaa gaa in love with them. He is also ultra liberal.
He sounds a lot like Melania!

RE: Pro-life Congressman told his mistress to get an abortion!
Actually I think he should he criticized for both.
I'm actually anti-abortion now. I've changed my mind. Banning abortion will ensure that millions of new Democrats are born each year. The Republican party will cease to exist in 25 years or so.
Hmm.. you just gave republicans a great reason to be pro-choice!
Exactly because Conservatives don't care about the fetus. They care about controlling womens bodies. That is the only reason we are still having this conversation.
If men didn't need women to pro-create they would have wiped them off the face of the earth thousands of years ago.

He should get together with Casey Anthony.

Mistake? The Republican supports abortion for his mistress but wants to strip away the rights of other women.

RE: What is the argument AGAINST allowing insurance to be sold across state lines?
You hit on something else too.. if someone lives in one state, and purchases their health insurance in that state.. What happens when that person moves to another state? Or even if they are just on vacation in another state? Or overseas?
That all depends. For most people healthcare is tied to employment so if they move to another state they probably have a new job or they have an insurer that operates in multiple states.
ObamaCare plans are actually sold at the COUNTY level. If you don't live in a county where that plan is sold you need to change plans. You are allowed to change plans.
Generally, all plans offer emergency coverage out of state. Most plans do not offer ANY type of coverage out of the country. Medicare has some limited circumstances in which it can be used in Canada but no other country.
,
hmm.. if someone moves to another country.. I am sure they still get their social security checks / benefits, but I bet they lose their medicare benefits. They take money out of mt dad's ss before he ever sees it. If he moved to another country, I wonder if they would continue to talke $$ from his ss to pay for medicare that he isn't getting.
Here's a wild idea.. put a tax on tobacco that is used to fund cancer treatments.
You don't have to be enrolled in Medicare. You can cancel. You can continue to get SS if you are out of the country. I've seen people with US Social Security and Social Security from another country. They worked enough in both countries to get both.
Hmm.. I wonder if some elderly people, such as those who have a DNR or live in a hospice cancel their medicare?
Hospice is a Medicare benefit so that is doubtful. Very few people actually go to a Hospice center. Those services are usually provided at home or in a nursing home. Hospice is short term. Generally people who need Hospice services will die pretty quickly.

Pro-life Congressman told his mistress to get an abortion!
The family values party is at it again! Pennsylvania Rep. Tim Murphy a prominent pro-life Republican recently told his mistress to go get an abortion. I guess he didn't want his wife to find out…..
Today he voted for an anti-abortion bill!

RE: Moonbats going crazy trying to figure out how to blame Trump 4 Vegas massacre
It's worth noting that his father was a bank robber who was on the FBI Most Wanted list. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
This isn't Trumps fault. This is the fault of the GOP. They did nothing five years ago after a group of five year olds was blown away by a psycho. They won't do anything this time around either.

RE: How's this idea for healthcare?
@Adam, when a hospital charges 78,000 dollars (or 5000 in my school's case), where does that money go? Doctors aren't that rich. Seems like someone's getting a larger piece of the pay than they deserve.
udents anyway.
Wait, are you saying the insurance companys don't actually pay that large amount?
Insurers pay MUCH less than the bill you receive in the mail. A $5000 charge to you would probably be paid at around $400 by an insurance company.
What?
Then why do hospitals make a big show of putting those super high costs on our bills, well, your bills. One step in making the healthcare industry seem less evil would be to show them charging less.
The industry does it to force people to buy health insurance. It's either that or go bankrupt (or die).
Let them go bankrupt. In capitalism.. failures go bankrupt.. and should. The moonbats like to prop up failures by throwing money at doomed disasters. Everytime the republicans try to change healthcare at all, the moonbats start whining that people will die. People do die. All people will eventually die except for me. It's just a matter of when. The moonbats don't even wait to evaluate the changes or even read the proposed legislation.
Why should a person die from a disease that is curable? How much money is your life worth? Your dads life? Is the amount different for him?
