    • RE: Ex-Russia ambassador: 'The Russians are laughing' at U.S.

      @Drwas:

      Former U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul said Tuesday that “Russians are laughing” at America under President Trump.

      “I think the Russians are laughing,” he said in an interview on MSNBC. “I think that’s right but they’re laughing at how easy it is. And how our president, unfortunately, is helping with their agenda.”

      McFaul added that recent reports of conflict in NATO and the Group of 7 pleases Russian President Vladimir Putin.

      “Let’s just be clear that NATO and G7 – those are our clubs,” he said. “Those are clubs that we set up to advance our national security interests, to advance our prosperity.”

      “And the result of this trip has been discord in both of those groups,” McFaul added of Trump’s first foreign trip as president last week. “That is music to Putin’s ears.”

      When I read the head of this article I just knew it would be ambassador Mcfaul. Mcfaul will always be the laughing stock of America in Russia. He was Obama's ambassador pick, when he didn't even speak Russian, didn't even know Russian culture. Constantly made mistakes in Russian and was laughed at. You can still find his tweets where on Russian he says "I'm going to fuckberg". He was ultimately resigned as ambassador because he tried to become political arm of America and make protests in Russia when he was a GUEST in Russia. You do not go to somebody else's house and demand that they change their ways when you are a guest in their home. Mcfaul will always be disgrace and embarrassment.

      @raphjd:

      Don Lemon and Simone Sanders …

      Who?

      Again, your bigoted mentality. You read about some individual saying something, and you pretend they spoke for ALL individuals in the group classification you hate.

      However, when some white person says it's OK to kill black people, you consider them to be one individual loon who speaks for no one but themselves.

      Stop your group-think.

      As usual, the "identity politics" is 100% done by conservatives.

      "group think" "identity politics done by conservatives"

      this is so rich considering the left has capitalized on identity politics and group thinking.
      as for someone white ever calling for violence (or imagined violence as is usually the case) the left always takes that opportunity to virtue signal about how "white supremacy" and racism are huge issues that are coming from the right meanwhile widely accepted and promoted  groups like black lives matter are calling for the death of cops with chants like"pigs in a blanket fry them like bacon" and "what do we want dead cops when do we want them now".

      Shhhh…..being a cop isn't a racial classification. Shhhh.....being a cop is a choice unlike being the race you're born into. Shhhh....not every cop is a white man. Shhhh.....

      So calling for the death of cops is okay in your mind "because being a cop is a choice unlike being the race you're born into"?  What about calling for the deaths of muslims and christians or jews because religion is just a choice that nobody is born with?
      You're a terrible troll.
      2/10 for making me respond.

      There are a lot of uncomfortable parts of history. But sanitizing history and erasing it, will only make us doomed to repeat the same mistake. The people taking down this statue will only create that which they are attempting to remove. Ironic actually.

    • RE: Why is Communism not as hated as Nazism?

      Because mentally ill professors in western universities are brainwashing students to think Socialism and Communism is good thing. When evil Fidel Castro died, famous western liberals cried and praised him. Socialism is very sick ideology, it is politics of jealousy and greed. What exactly is your fair share of what somebody else has earned? Western people suffered so much in education system now, they do not even know history, or how the "Democrat Socialist" in Russia became Communist party of Soviet Union and killed millions of its own people. The sick thing about Socialism is that it appeals to peoples emotions "we must help the poor", "we must become equality", but in practice it has only succeeded in diminishing the middle class, expanding lower class, and creating permanent political elite that the slave class is dependent on.

      Also because western people are fed this lies that Nordic model is socialism/Democratic socialism when it is not. It is welfare capitalism.

    • RE: Chechnya

      I am from kavkaz actually. Liberals do so many mental gymnastics and blame human rights problems in Chechnya, Dagestan, Ingushetia on Russia, when this is not the case. It is sad that leftists are most sheltered people that do not know much about world. Problems happening in Chechnya, the mujahideen, the honor killings (travesti was murdered by his family in Chechnya a month ago, his family celebrated his death), abuse of gays. Leftists see this situation and look for closest white and Christian person to blame it on. Let me tell you, I think god every day that I live by Christians now. The worst thing a Christian will do, they will say you going to hell. The worst thing muslim will do? Cant even compare this two things.

      @raphjd:

      NOPE.  You do not get to control this topic.

      You said anyone who voted for or supported Trump is guilty by extension.  Of course I'm not surprised at all that you're butt hurt because I use that same logic against you.

      Since that is your claim, then it applies in all cases.  Or are you just doing this to scream "racism" again?

      AND AGAIN, you don't get to dictate what is and is not allowed in this thread.

      If you want to apply my logic to me, that's fine.

      That's not what I'm arguing against. I am arguing that the election of #45 has inspired white nationalists and white supremacists to come out of hiding and take pride in their racism, and I used Rep. Steve King (R-IA) and his recent white nationalist and white supremacist language as an example. Instead of refuting my claims, which you must agree with, you've made attempts to equalize things that Hillary Clinton has allegedly supported (without any substantial proof to back up those claims by the way). Why are you trying to minimize the effects of white nationalism and white supremacy instead of refuting that they actually exist and they have damaging effects on society? Is it because Steve King's words are so well-known? Is it because the Republican party in Congress has given him chairmanship of committees and subcommittees despite his support for white nationalism and white supremacy? There has to be a reason why you do not take white nationalism and white supremacy speech coming from an elected official seriously. Is it because you yourself support it?

      I condemn the things you accuse Hillary Clinton of yet I have not heard you condemn the hate speech from white nationalists like Steve Bannon, Steve King and #45 himself. Where is your condemnation? Where are your sources that prove what I'm saying about King, Bannon and #45 are wrong?

      Accusing Steve Bannon of being a "white nationalist" is just delusional and detached from reality at this point. The only people that think Steve Bannon is some kind of anti-semite or racist are the uninformed that are insulated from facts. Even the ADL walked back their accusations of Steve Bannon being anti-semitic or racists. Literally the ONLY "proof" they could come up with is that the comment section on some articles had some racist trolls in them, which by that logic would also mean Youtube is responsible for racist trolls commenting on youtube videos, and would also mean youtube endorses racism.
      https://www.adl.org/education/resources/backgrounders/stephen-bannon-five-things-to-know
      Trump has condemned racism, white nationalism, etc more times than any of us can count. I certainly condemn racism, in ALL forms, but the left has yet to condemn their own racist anti-white, anti-semitic people. The left was getting ready to prop up well known anti-semitic racist Keith Ellison as their DNC chair, and NOBODY condemned his hateful speech which emboldened anti-semitic "liberal" racists. Or the fact that the left supports openly racist policies such as BDS movement which has emboldened anti-semites everywhere. The left in America will go the same way as Corbyn's party if they continue to refuse to condemn racism on their OWN side.

      The left deals with their troublemakers by removing them or keeping them from getting into positions of power, the right doesn't.

      Riiiight… Which is why the organizers of the leftist "Women's march" against Donald Trump was organized by a woman that advocates for Female genital mutilation and is vehemently anti-semitic (Linda Sarsour) and by a woman that tortured, kidnapped and killed a gay man (Donna Hylton) and when asked why she sodomized the gay man with a stool before killing him she replied "he was a homo anyway". Or that Democrats were literally ready to prop up well known anti-semitic racist Keith Ellison as DNC chair despite his hateful rhetoric. The left have never denounced Keith Ellison's hateful and racist comments, or Al Sharpton's racist comments as well, Or denounced when Obama made fun of the mentally handicapped, Or when Hillary Clinton mocked disabled children and called them "fucking retards" Or the fact that the most racist institutionalized policy in America today (The BDS movement) originates from the left and is supported by Democrats such as Keith Ellison etc.

      Not to mention that Omar Mateen (who was a registered democrat as well) and his father both supported Hillary Clinton, as well as countless other radicals. Seddique Mateen (father of Orlando shooter and radical taliban supporter) was invited to Hillary's rally. Hillary NEVER denounced Mateen's support, she even dodged questions about Mateen at a Miami event, it wasn't until media pressure was so great that her CAMPAIGN denounced Mateen. She herself never denounced him. Syed Farook's dating profile listed himself as "very liberal" as well. We could go and on in circles about hate on both sides. Don't get me wrong there are hateful people on the right as well, but the worst thing a radical Republican is going to do to me is read a Bible to me and tell me I'm going to hell. While the worst thing a radical liberal will do is bring in millions of people that want to kill gays. I left a muslim country to come to America to get away from that. No thanks.

    • RE: Is your microwave spying on you?

      @raphjd:

      Why do liberals always forget Obama's election promises verses his actions.   Despite his unconditional promise to end GWB mass surveillance, Obama extended it far beyond anything GWB could have dreamed of.

      Obama got butt hurt at Snowden for whistleblowing, despite his promise to protect whistleblowers.  Obama only got butt hurt because Snowden proved Obama was/is a liar.

      Obama is a proven liar.  So any denial from him means nothing.

      As for the technology, I don't know how the microwave can be turned into a spying device, but I'm sure the CIA, NSA and many others have looked into it.    Thanks to Snowden, we know that the government uses various things in our homes to spy on use.

      You know even Mark Zuckerberg puts tape over his camera and microphone on his devices? Or he just plain removes them.
      https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ClfR1BDUsAEMBm2.jpg
      It's very naive to think that the government does not spy on it's own people. I'm old enough to remember when people complained about the Patriot Act and government spying on people every day, and the excuse that was used was that "it was to prevent terrorism". Obama resigned Bush's patriot act and increased the scope of the surveillance. But as an ordinary citizen I would not worry about being spied on, I'm sure the government has more important things to listen for than what kind of porn you watch lol
