A question about seeding
-
Hi. A question for smart people... My downloads all go into my download file where they can get seeded until I have to move them much later when the file gets too full. But my question is, I use colored tags (I use a Mac) to designate different things in the video to look for (bb, cream pies, bondage, etc.) Does that affect the seeding? I think when I add other comments to the original title, which I also like to do, the download can't be seeded anymore, right? But do the colored tags also affect that? I try to hold off at least a day before making any changes at all to the downloads.

@Quente2 I doubt very much that your colored tags affect your seeding.
Do you monitor your seeding? Generally, videos you download the same day as they are posted will seed for a day or two, and then only seed randomly in the future. However, those random seeds are what get you a good point ratio.
I use PC utilities such as Utorrent and Qbittorrent. Bittorrent is virtually identical to Utorrent, and very close to Qbittorrent. Make sure you set your videos to SEEDING. If they are stopped, they can't be seen by others. The PC clients usually allow you to set TAGS but they are not colored.
Adding comments would have no effect either. Even changing names WITHIN the torrent client does not matter either, because the client only cares about the original name.

@lololulu19 Thanks, yeah I see that they are seeding for a day or two, but then usually nothing after that, but occasionally, like you said, I do see some random seeding. Then I won't worry about the tags and comments. Appreciate it.
