[defense] interrogated Cohen with phone records and text messages over Cohen's claim that he spoke by phone to Trump about the hush money payment to porn actor Stormy Daniels that is at the heart of the case...
[defense] said that was a lie, confronting Cohen with texts indicating that what was on his mind...were harassing calls he was getting from an apparent 14-year-old prankster.
And the call only lasted 1:36 & even Cohen admitted that was mostly with a bodyguard.
So no, Cohen didn't talk to Trump about Stormy. Observers say, even jury (85% Dems & told to NOT react) seemed aghast, slumped their shoulders, looked at each other.
Cohen also testified to 1) his own past crimes of perjury, 2) that Stormy meant to extort Trump.
[defense] elicited testimony...that the Daniels deal was essentially a shakedown of Trump, rather than a plot to keep voters in the dark. Cohen acknowledged telling a former prosecutor that he felt Daniels and her lawyer were extorting Trump...
“Yes, I recall making a statement like that … that they were extorting Mr. Trump,” Cohen told jurors.
As with Stormy, defense easily showed both 1) animus 2) financial motive.
[defense] confronted Cohen with profane social media posts, a podcast and books he wrote about the former president, getting Cohen to acknowledge that he has made millions of dollars off slamming Trump. In one clip played in court Thursday, Cohen could be heard using an expletive and saying he truly hopes “that this man ends up in prison.”

Wow.
But President Trump surely broke gag order - called so-called "judge" Merchan, corrupt & guilty of election interference.
Maybe we see Trump in jail, that way. Please God.

Stormy admitted to running extortion schemes on other celebrities.
Looks like - maybe not proven yet, but looks like - Cohen brought in Stormy, to do extortion scheme on Trump, where Cohen could skim too.
I doubt - never say never, but I doubt that Trump banged Stormy.
It's Trump's word vs hers.......... and at this point, Trump is DEF more credible.

Blanche: You were willing to lie under oath if it affects your personal life, correct?
Cohen: I don’t understand your question.
Blanche: You testified under oath months ago that you were willing to lie if it affects your personal life, correct?
Cohen: Yes, sir.
Blanche: So I’m asking the same question to you now: would you still be willing to lie if it affects your personal life?
