He announced that he is stepping down as GOP leader yesterday, 28 Feb 2024.

He will no longer be Senate GOP leader effective in Nov 2024. I can't find the exact date it becomes effective.

Know why President Trump never pardoned Julian Assange? (a great failing) -> McConnell.

Someone reminded me other day, that McConnell in Jan 2021 made threats to Trump that second impeachment would pass, if he pardoned Assange.

You could call it just a warning, except it still works out to where McConnell does zero for Assange & wants him jailed / dead.
