I have been telling my friends for literally a decade, that it was a bad idea to be complacent in letting Muslims into our communities, let alone support the liberal government and Trudeau of his love for Muslim migrants.
Because as far as human behaviour goes, Muslims usually act "good" because they're a "minority" in one place. But once they get to a population that they can safely dominate the place, usually 30%, they will start to go hardcore homophobic and basically racist to anyone else who's not a Muslim.
I lived in the Philippines before I migrated to Canada. Every city I've been to which starts having a significant Muslim population starts to rot. Muslim regions in the Philippines have the highest crime and human rights abuses in the country. Heck, the largest massacre of journalists occurred in a Muslim area, called the Maguindano massacre. A total of 58 people were summarily executed, in broad daylight and dumped in mass graves.
That's why it boggled my mind that when I migrated to Canada, they also started letting Muslims migrate without any precautions. I warned my friends of what would happen.
And who the heck gave them "minority" status anyway?
In year 2000 they were 1.3 billion. Currently, there are 2 billion.
Catholics are only 1.4 billion, Christians are 1.2 billion.
Muslims are not a minority!
Now the place I live in are starting to have self-identified sharia police roaming around and harassing LGBT and women. I'm just ranting cause I'm starting to feel unsafe here. And it's angering me that the Canada LGBT liberals voted for this. And they still continue to "support" it and call anyone "islamophobe" if you question them.

@manrmen-0 Sadly, this does not surprise me. Our dictator of this lovely place now known as Chinada has an agenda to push, no matter the cost to Canadians. He wants to ensure that Canada falls to the lowest possible position that it can.
Also, the only reason why our dictator (Justin Trudeau) is pushing so hard for all these immigrants is to buy their votes. This, of course, makes ZERO sense to me. The trouble we have is we can't find enough suitable housing for the people we already have here, so it makes no sense that we can bring in others when we already don't have enough available housing for the people we already have.

Yes! you are correct. Muslim communities are indeed dangerous to non-muslims. Especially to LGBT and women, but also anybody basically -

The Star's article is standard lib handwringing.
Push an awful policy, disregard all warnings, get bad results, MAYBE wring hands - while taking shots at victims or at anybody normal.
Eventually it dawns on you, handwringing is fake. Chaotic bad results is what libs wanted. Look up "Cloward-Piven Strategy".
Note how Star's article finds fault with teacher who rebuked the Muslim kids for homophobia, & tries to make you (reader) feel bad for the homophobic Muslims kids. Look up "Bait and Switch strategy".
PS. A few libs may even fetishize being dominated, abused & (they hope) raped by Muslims. Used to see it on Tumblr.

they can have that fetish in private. not drag the rest of society in their sick perversion. and yah, I've seen a lot of closeted muslim men. even in middle east, there's a thriving "massage" parlor industry and they hire foreign men.
