Disc: Ascending user class in the Forum.

 Thanks for the info. on ascending. I was curious to know how it worked. And heaven knows, I need all the help I can get - in this life and the next! LOL I'm hardly an elitist, but I think there should be a notation/division and/or distinction (seed bonus reward?) for those of us who take the time to actually find videos, turn them into torrents, create still images, go through the sometimes difficult/strenuous task of uploading, seeding and awaiting for (hoping for) approval VS. those who take advantage of the privileges offered here while contributing nothing themselves - keeping their ratio up by merely seeding 24/7. An active, healthy community is made up of its members and their participation. In a personal correspondence, a member friend stated that he'd never made a torrent, didn't know how, and didn't care to know how. I didn't comment, but it seems like an odd message from someone inhabiting a torrent specific site. But: C'est la vie! (So, how do I qualify for AUTO APPROVAL?) [div style="color: green"]Discussion split from the starting post[/div]

 As a general rule, make an inquiry with a moderator after having had an upload history generally of 10 torrents without need for moderator assistance. Looking at your profile and history, you qualify for it. Congratulations Once they appear, I suggest frequently visiting the forum section for users with Auto Approval. It contains a lot of vital information that will likely come in handy.

 There is no system in place to give AA automatically. So people that want it must ask for it.

 You are "Full Member" of the Forum with 3 stars,
 See the topic starting message > http://forum.gaytorrent.ru/index.php?topic=9773.msg36669#msg36669Our Forum is a site embedded into the main site, the "User" status is referring to the main site, which status is torrent activity driven. You may become "Power User", who got a few advantages, or if you volunteer and are accepted moderator (no additional advantages, only more work, no salary)

 @Uwe: (no additional advantages, only more work, no salary) At least, your boss is not around like at work breaking always your balls and turn your mood blackest ;D

 @ultimate: At least, your boss is not around like at work breaking always your balls and turn your mood blackest ;D :true: We have the most democratic bosses on the WWW, although some members stated we have Nazi rules ;D

 although some members stated we have Nazi rules ;D Really?! Maybe we can ask some free sex by those users to make rules easier for them ;D Just kidding
-

 Oh yes. I've had users call me a Nazi flat out on more than one occasion. Generally, it's when I've more or less told them :rtfm:

 @ultimate: …
 At least, your boss is not around like at work...Well - at least he reads nearly everything in our forum @ultimate: …
 breaking always your balls ...Well - when we exchange breaking by touching/licking/…: Not because of the lack of desire to do so, more due to the distance

 what's rtfm? report to forum moderator? Read The Fucking Manual
 a phrase a lot of people in tech support everywhere often need to remind themselves they aren't allowed to use.Well - let's use the "political correct" version: Read The Fine Manual At least that is the version our smiley is supposed to say At least that is the version our smiley is supposed to say

 Curious if the ranges have changed; I have more than two (2) posts, and
 I am still a lurker. I just say this not because I care about the "title" but
 seeing if the "switch" was brokeded. (I am assuming it's automated.)

 Curious if the ranges have changed;
 …Nope - not at all. There seems to be a flaw that in some cases the group name (Lurker) does not change, while the "honor stars" do change - you had the "Lurker" title and one star which is actually a contradiction in itself I can (and do) fix the effect of this flaw when I can see it or after a user let me know about this happening - so I fixed your case too I have more than two (2) posts, and
 I am still a lurker.
 …Not any longer

 @mgr: Read The Fucking Manual
 a phrase a lot of people in tech support everywhere often need to remind themselves they aren't allowed to use.Well - let's use the "political correct" version: Read The Fine Manual I always used Read The Fibrous Material, then would explain that paper is made of wood fibers… The strangest thing I got back from a customer was while they were reading back the settings from their terminal... "X-On, F-Off" (for flow control, the usual term is xon/xoff) I almost fell down laughing!
