Is this the smoking gun? Letter from Michael Cohen claiming Donald Trump did NOT reimburse him for hush money paid to Stormy Daniels appears to fly in the face of the star witness's grand jury testimony

Michael Cohen claimed he was not reimbursed by Donald Trump or his organization for hush money payments to porn actress Stormy Daniels in a 2018 letter to federal authorities, contradicting his recent grand jury testimony,
Braggs is also being accused of withholding over 600 pages of documents that prove Trump's innocence.

@raphjd Libs - aka commies - been trying to Soviet-ize the USA.
Soviet Union was a place where "justice", so-called, was lawless unjust utterly political.
Bragg seems out to test, how far along has USA gone? What level of degeneration?
While ignoring actual murders & thefts in NYC.... Bragg attempts a political prosecution of one key political opponent of USA Lying Imperial Regime.
Many reasons why there is no case against Trump - why Bragg's attempt should be thrown out instantly.
- evidence withheld
- wildly incorrect legal theory
- long-expired Statute of Limitations
- even Stormy Daniels agreed, at one point, that really she had no affair with Trump & was scamming
- even Biden DOJ, corrupt & political as they are, declined the case
But the point is: How far along can the case get, despite such massive ridiculous defects? Bragg wants to see, apparently.
Trump is a canary in a coal mine.
The fact that such an abusive political case is investigated, proves USA Lying Imperial Regime has accomplished Soviet Level 5 (at least).
If it's charged, then Soviet Level 6... if it's tried, then USA at Soviet Level 7, if it's convicted, then.... You get the idea.
USA libs love abusive power - their own power to abuse others, be they children, ordinary citizens, key opponents or whatever.
USA libs want to measure how much abusive power, right now, they really have.
It's their fucked-up version of flexing in the mirror & posting to insta or TikTok.

The TDS liberals are going nuts trying to indict Trump for ANYTHING! Not one thing they have tried to falsely pin on him has stuck!
-
@lololulu19 Shocking to recall that Michael Cohen paid Stormy. #NeverTrump
This whole thing could be simple: Maybe Michael Cohen, lying criminal lawyer (Nooooooo! really?) was obsessed with Stormy, had an affair & paid her.
Then over-billed his rich client, Trump. (Nooooo! Lying criminal lawyers don't overbill!)
Then got caught doing other illegal stuff and, seeing what NY prosecutors & USA Congress wanted, made up shit. (Noooooo! Lying criminal lawyers don't lie!)

Is this the smoking gun?
Nope. That letter is actually supportive evidence for any testimony Cohen might give, because part of his testimony would be to explain how he lied and did other bad things for Trump for many years. The letter dates from when he was part of the conspiracy, so the fact that it contains lies about the $130,000 payment corroborates Cohen's later testimony under oath. That letter was not even written by Cohen .... it's from Cohen's attorney. Evidence such as the checks to Cohen that Trump signed are better smoking guns than this letter.

So on one side you are saying that Cohen is a convicted liar and on the other you are saying he should be believed, but only if his testimony is what you want him to say.

That's a nice Catch-22 you've created. Anyone involved in a conspiracy of dishonesty cannot be convicted based on the guilty admissions of their co-conspirators, because those co-conspirators are self-admitted liars.

@hubrys No. Not what @raphjd said.
You ignore the issue of someone being a proven criminal & liar in other, unrelated matters already ie. credibility does have to be weighed & routinely is weighed.
Michael Cohen has mucho criminality & lying quite unrelated to Trump.
You ignore the issue of confirming evidence ie. in its absence, the proven criminal liar is indeed more likely to be lying now.
You ignore the issue of prosecutorial abuse ie. abusive prosecutors, like Fat Alvin Bragg, pressuring criminal liars to lie more.

Hey libs, under Woke Rules, YOU ARE OBLIGATED to believe Brown People from Third World Nations.

"Think what you want about former President Trump and the reasons he’s being indicted.
But just imagine if this happened in any other country, where a government arrested the main opposition candidate.
The United States ability to use 'democracy' as foreign policy is gone."
Mexican President Andres Manuel López Obrador - a socialist, even.
"Legal issues should not be used for electoral, political purposes.
That’s why I don’t agree with what they are doing to ex-President Trump."

Whoops! hehe... that indictment is going nowhere.
