Issues with connecting to seeders?
-
I started having an issue connecting to seeders for torrents a couple of days ago.
All my torrents seem to show 0 seeders even though I can see there's a high number of folks seeding.
Any ideas? -
@ladave It could be that the torrent was purged from the site, and is not only DEAD, but completely gone so that nobody can leech nor seed, upload or download it. It happens to me.. a LOT.
Actually, it is a good thing, because in the past, I was downloading so much porn that I could not keep up with it, and it was filling my huge external hard drives. But now, it is EASY to keep up with the amount of porn, because it's being purged before I even know it was posted.

@lololulu19 Thanks, I don't think that's the case because it's every torrent I am trying to download.
I can see there's a bunch of seeders according to the stats but I get 0 and sometimes it moves to 1-2 and then back down to 0.
Not sure what changed or how to fix this. -
@ladave Have you done any of the following recently:
Updated your torrent client? Some new versions change the default connection settings.
Changed your connection or network settings?
Installed any new apps or programs that may have changed your connection settings? In particular a firewall or anti-virus, but some programs that download streaming media can hijack your connection settings without your knowledge.
Changed ISP?Did you have a VPN or proxy server subscription that has expired, or are you using.a free service that may have been taken down?
If you don't believe you have done anything that may have caused this issue then it may be that your ISP is blocking P2P connections.
[Stupid question, have you tried restarting your torrent client? ]

When you open this link does the page shows everything correctly? If not you might be being blocked by the ddos protection. If it loads properly it probably is a misconfiguration on your torrent client or firewall. Try using a different client, if it doesn't seem to work, reset your firewall settings.
