Trump sued for "staggering fraud" against lenders/banks

Trump reaped hundreds of millions of dollars in benefit by overvaluing his assets by billions of dollars. It will be interesting to see if the US Attorneys investigate for violations of Federal law based on the evidence transmitted to them by the NY AG's office.

She ran on finding something/anything to get Trump on and all she could come up with was a stupid civil lawsuit.

So what's your point? He shouldn't get sued if he misrepresented his finances? So many people can't get their heads around the fact that the man isn't a god.
"You should just let him off the small stuff since you can't get him on the big stuff (yet), because I'm a huge fanboy."
-
I never said he's god.
Your side won't investigate the Biden's, but you are going after Trump for anything and everything you can think of.
Clearly, this is political, as is the refusal to go after the Biden's.
-
@raphjd My "side?" You can wind your neck in on that attitude for a start, lad.
I'm a Brit, so I don't have a side when it comes to US politics. All I can see is someone who, admittedly I have no love for, is being held to account for their actions just like every free citizen should be. What gets to me is this constant drivel being spouted by his fans who think that every other suspected criminal should be dealt with before anyone even glances sideways at Trump. It's like having the "Leave Britney alone!!!" video on repeat.
If you believe that Biden should be investigated then fine. I freely admit that I don't know know all the ins and outs of it. Just don't try to convince me that just because Biden isn't in cuffs in a witness box Trump deserves a free pass, because that's insane. Yes, politics are obviously going to play a role in how things progress, just like they always have done and probably always will.
Now then, genuine question coming up. No baiting. No agenda. Just want an honest answer and discussion...
If it is proven in a court of law that the Trump family misrepresented their financial position and did in fact commit fraud, what would you like to see happen?
-
LOL, you really are a clown.
YES, you are a liberal, even if you live in the UK. Hell, even the Tories are liberals.
You are fingering yourself with glee over what is happening to Trump, because all you liberals "know" everything he's supposedly done, but you have no idea about any of the stuff the Biden family has done.
Do you know why the New York AG didn't file criminal charges? It's politics. She knows she can't with on the legal burden of criminal charges but can win on the 50.0000000000000000000000001% more likely to be true, with a politicized jury.
It's how Hillary's lawyer, who we know lied, was able to get away with lying to the FBI. The extremely politized jury let him off.
It's the same reason all these legal actions are happening now, so they mess up Repubs' chances in the mid-term elections.
Clearly, you haven't read this section much. Liberals screech like butt hurt bitches when we point out things about the Dems.
Chris Crocker has turned into a hunk since the "leave Britney alone!!!" video.
Trump won't get a fair trial, in NY or any blue state.
Liberals believe all kinds of lies about Trump, that have been debunked.
Hell, we just had a Congressman repeat the lie that officer Sicknick died as a result of being beaten to death with a fire extinguisher on 6 Jan, despite the autopsy report saying there was no trauma to the body and he died of natural causes from a stroke.
Trump will be found "guilty" in the show trial and the scumbag liberals will be allowed to continue to run amuck.
-
@raphjd Well the only thing anyone could possibly glean from that response is that you obviously aren't interested in any discussion on any topic.

The only one "screeching" here is you and the 100's of topics you've started that contain nothing but rhetoric. Anyone who dares to try to engage with you is met with abuse. Clown? Scumbag liberals? Fingering yourself with glee? You're doing nothing to debunk the stereotype of a Trump supporter, coming across as just another disciple who just screams in everyone's face to avoid actually trying to find a common ground.
I can't fathom what it must be like to live in such a polarised society. Dare to express any opinion and you're guaranteed to be met with utter disdain. I pity you.
Do please enjoy getting the last word in.
-
Typical liberal.
Of course, you believe anything a conservative posts is nothing but rhetoric because it goes against your worldview.
-
Oh, and here's my first interaction with one of your ilk;
deranged fascist
But yeah, keep claiming conservatives attack everyone while ignoring when your side does it.

She doesn't have the power as NY's Attorney General to bring a criminal prosecution of Trump; she can only bring a civil suit. Do you not understand what a state's Attorney General is?
She's transmitted her investigation to the Federal US Attorneys for the Southern District of New York for them to see if they want to bring a federal criminal action against Trump. We will see what the US Attorneys decide to do.
-
When are you going to admit it is purely political?
It's comical that of all the things she accused Trump of, this is the very best she could come up with.
BTW, do you not realize that when you take out a loan, BOTH SIDES, do a valuation on the property that secures the loan?
-

So you think laws which prohibit lying to banks and lenders don't come into play if the bank or lender catches you lying to them? It's only a crime if you don't get caught?
-
I bet my valuation for my house will be different than the bank's valuation of it. My guy will over appraise it and the bank's guy will lowball it.
We see the same with insurance claims.
Yet, he's never been prosecuted for that.
Nor has any bank sued him for it.
You still refuse to admit that it's purely political. It was all her campaign consisted of; taking down Trump.
