ROFL - when you go to the main Torrent page (www.gaytorrent.ru) you should see it on a huge green banner! (You probably ignore it, thinking it's an ADVERTISEMENT).

Click on that, and you'll go here:

LOL! Yeah, I missed that one as I was oblivious. BUT, now I cross my t's and dot my i's to make sure there hasn't been a file already uploaded as I've run into that on several occasions.

          Soapbubble ... POP!

Just do a search... or, you can let the rest of the GayTorrent.RU users do the work for you!

The site "pays" (in Seed Bonus Points) for people to report duplicates.. if your torrent is still alive in 2-weeks, submit it for your bonus!

            Just an idea...

@bi4smooth I understand all that. BUT, there was a situation sometime last year where the search engine was acting wonky. Hence the reason why my uploads were reported as duplicates were because the search engine was wonky. So no, I don't trust technology that much. It's good to have it and all as we have the world right at our fingertips. However, expecting technology to be dependable 100% of the time is a far stretch as it all comes within the territory. You know, kind of like artificial intelligence when you ask Alexa or Google to play sexual music and all they do is put out Lynyrd Skynyrd instead.

No system where you allow thousands of users to input data is going to be perfect. And I may be wrong, but other than notifications that your uploads were duplicates, I don't suspect there was any PENALTY for uploading something found elsewhere.

I do know for a fact that Staff don't go looking for duplicates... they depend on the users to report them. I know this because I was told as much by a staffer some years ago when one of my torrents was marked as a duplicate, even though I thought it was "different enough" (an argument I lost LOL)

Finally - Why can't you make love to Free Bird? or What's Your Name?

I'm not sure who's right - you or Alexa on that one! ROFL!

@bi4smooth LOL! I ain't no beef with any of it. I'm just saying on my part that I cross my t's and dot my i's first, but with the Internet of Things (IoT), I've come to learn a long time ago that it's not as reliant as society makes it out to be as it happens all the time. Search engines, intranet portals, you name it. The list goes on.

I guess what I am trying to convey is that I always check first to see if there is a file that has already been uploaded, At that particular time, there was an issue with the search engine as well as other miscellaneous things. All of it got worked out of course, but boy did my uploads get reported as duplicate, lol! Hey, kudos for the 5 or 10 bonus seed points. I forgot how much you get for reporting duplicates. I guess in my defense, it wasn't deliberate on my part. It was just frustrating as I'm asking moderators to type in the same porn actors in the search engine bar to see what they see for their results. I knew I wasn't going crazy, lol!

Free Bird? What's Your Name? Oh, god. I'm afraid to ask what they both sound like, lol! Do you know what's so weird about today's AI? I don't even mess around with it anymore, lol! I can't tell you how many times I've had to reset or redo smart bulbs and all that crap. One time I asked Alexa for the current temperature on my Echo Show and she wound up TURNING OFF the program that I was watching on my Fire Cube TV and she gave me results for Farenheight 9-1-1 and other movies or documentaries that were temperature related. Ugh.
