Individual persons identified as "targets" by protesters - threatening bodily harm and death:
- Jan 6: dozens, including the VP, Speaker, and multiple MOC
- Oct 14: none
Weapons brandished by protesters:
- Jan 6: Guns, clubs, maces, flags (used as clubs)
- Oct 14: none were armed
Last time there was a protest at each location where people illegally entered (breached) the building:
- Jan 6: August, 1814
- Oct 14: July, 2021
So you're right! There is so much in common!
For one, the Capitol Police and Federal Protective Services DID NOT just sit back and let this happen: they actually ARRESTED people and took them to jail - ON THE SPOT, not days/weeks/months later. LESSON FROM JAN 6 learned!
The attempts to make comparisons between these 2 events is nothing more than an attempt - by insurrection supporters (who are anti-American, if you ask me!) look less treasonous.
We burned down a forest and killed 5 people, injuring hundreds of others, and causing millions in damages...

I didn't forget anything - I looked at the exact "comparison" you proposed and "dug deeper" - some might call that "critical thinking" - in that I didn't just take what you said as "gospel", but rather looked at what you wrote, applied other knowledge, and determined to what extent your post was true...
In the BIG points, it was true: there were activists who stormed the Interior department.
I'm not really sure this rose to the level of "domestic terrorism" - it was a sit-in, not a bombing. There were also no weapons found on the protesters.
But even if I gave you that point: there is a difference between "domestic terrorism" - which is awful...
and insurrection - which is treason.
YES: Jan 6 started as a protest - but these protesters brought weapons & threatened the lives of public officials. Also, these protesters didn't want a change in government policy, they wanted a change in government!
That's treason!
So, I didn't totally disagree with your post about the protest at the Interior Department... I just disagreed with your use of that protest to create a completely false comparison to the Jan 6 insurrection in a blatant attempt to "minimize" and "normalize" the Jan 6 events.

- First, other than a few executive orders, NONE of the Biden Agenda has been approved... he has neither hurt nor helped our "energy independence" because the Dems can't get off their dicks long enough to count roll-call!
- Second, the pipelines he shut down by executive order helped CANADIAN oil fields, not US fields...
- Third, the higher prices actually HELP our energy independence! It costs more to get oil and natural gas out of the ground here... (think: fracking) and when oil was at historically low prices, we were cutting back our domestic production - because it cost too much to get it out of the ground! Now with higher prices, it's competitive again to do so! (I know this because my son works in the Oil & Natural Gas industry in NW Pennsylvania!) [NOT Politics, ECONOMICS! - I know it's a big word - just Google it!]
