California "Green" blackouts cause 50,000 gallons of raw sewage dumped
-
Democrat run California likes to claim it's environmentally friendly. CO2 is oxygen for trees but they want to tax you for it. EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler noted that 50,000 gallons of raw sewage was dumped into an Oakland estuary, due to windmills not being able to maintain the needed power, when back up waste water pumps failed.
California is one of the most polluted states in the country. Their green new deal crap just proved conclusively that it sucks. Their reputation for cleanliness is a mirage and total fakery. And they actually think they're smarter than everyone else cuz Orange man Bad. They can talk all they want. They're garbage. They're constipated and this is called an enema. Just shit all over the streets, now just dump everyone elses shit into the drinking water. What sick nasty trash the dems are…
They'll never admit they're wrong. But they are. Clearly, they have no idea what they're doing. Incompetent.

Oh dear…we've wandered into a fact-free zone:
CO2 is oxygen for trees.
CO2 is not oxygen. It is a carbon atom bonded to two oxygen atoms. CO2 is where vegetation gets its carbon, and then it expels oxygen. The problem is that there is more CO2 in the atmosphere than vegetation can absorb, which causes the the temperature of the atmosphere (and thus the Earth's surface) to rise in temperature. This is not a conspiracy theory; it is settled science.

The sewage release was caused by a power outage resulting from excessive electrical demand due to an extreme heat wave (think CO2 in the atmosphere). One notes with amusement that Wheeler's inane comments were made at a speaking engagement held at the Richard M. Nixon Presidential Library. I am not making this up.

There is no "green new deal" in California, or elsewhere in the US. It was proposed by some far-left congress people, but lacks the support to move ahead. It is not in the platform of either major political party in the US. It is not going to happen in the forseeable future. [Personal opinion note: I do not think the "green new deal" has been thought through; it strikes me as simplistic political grandstanding. I am not disappointed that it is dead on arrival whenever it's mentioned.]

You tried too hard to find something here.
It was clear what he meant with his post.

I thought you were talking about the forest fires, then I realized that it's another thing.

As in Green New Deal "Style" Policies are a thing in California already, and as in Carbon Dioxide is "Like" Oxygen for trees. Good grief. The warmer the planet is, the more vegetation. It's a cycle that creates MORE plants because the environment is beneficial. Yes pollution is bad, people shouldn't litter, but the CO2 Scam is a hoax started by the World Bank IMF to carbon tax all living things, which is why Corporations were legally classed as "persons," so they could be similarly taxed. The World Bank is owned by banksters, so follow the money - it all goes into their pocket.

The UK, under Tony Blair, was told to go green, but you still couldn't put solar panels and/or mini turbines on your house because the local councils wouldn't allow them. Instead of making a blanket law to force councils to allow them, we got punishment green taxes because we weren't going green.

This is nonsense. Do you have a scientific reference for this? (Hint: QAnon essays don't count.)

Maybe you should stop watching Rachel Maddow and put on some educational shows.
The entire planet was a topical paradise at various points in it's history.
The planet has been hotter and colder, as well.
During the Renaissance era we even had a mini ice age.
Doggerland was the european population hot spot and sat in what is now the North Sea.
Most of Europe was connected by land, that are now closed off by water; such as the English Channel between the UK and France.
The planet has gone through countless climate changes throughout it's history.

The planet has gone through countless climate changes throughout it's [sic] history.
Indeed so. But those climate changes have been gradual and driven by natural forces, allowing ecosystems to adapt. The "little ice age" was a short-lived phenomenon that ended soon enough to allow a return to the then-normal.
And…"it's," which you use twice, is a contraction of "it is." I think you mean "its" instead. Perhaps you are the one who should put on some educational shows.

Ah, a spelling nazi.
Even though it's none of your damned business, my laptop keyboard is on its last legs and I can't afford to replace it due to COVID-19. Friends, family and fellow mods know this because I told them. It takes ages to go through to fix all the typos so I probably miss some.
