When browsing torrents, the category still says "Shemale" but the "Trans" when voting for categories for a particular torrent is a step in the right direction. It is nice to see that!

It was/is the right and respectful thing to do.
Hope we can effect the same change wherever the icon appears.

As I understand it, torrents posted under "shemale" will stay that way until they become dead and fall off the site. Once they are reposted, they will become part of "trans".
I don't believe that the swopping of categories is a simple chore.

Yes, I found that post just after I'd written, but then couldn't figure out a way to delete the thread I started.
I by no means ment to imply that it's an easy job, I'm just happy it's being worked on.

I'm glad you started this thread because I wasn't aware of the change despite the stickied thread.

As a career-long editor, one of the first things you learn about headline writing is that with words, "specific trumps general" for reader understanding. And the same principle applies to Sticky Topics, as well.
"Category Change" by itself is general, whereas employing "Trans" into the headline would have been very eye-catching and related comments would have gathered there.
I don't mention this to admonish, just to share. Still a great change, dare I say, a positive transformation?
