Get circumcised or not?
-
I have known 3 men who were circumcised as adults.
ALL THREE regret having the procedure.
Here in the US, it used to be nearly unheard of for male children to not be circumcised shortly after birth... I WAS!
Today (2021), in this country, it's about 50/50 - the times, they are a changing! Still, most parents who choose TO circumcise say they want their child to "be like their father" or "be like the other children"... to which I say HOGWASH
For one, as the father of 4 boys I can attest that as babies they're not equating that tiny little pee-pee with my much larger, hairy penis... and then, as pre-teens, teens, and certainly as adults, I'm not wagging my dick in front of my children! I honestly don't think any of my children has any idea that I am circumcised! (NONE of them are!)
As for young boys comparing penises, little Johnny is far more likely to care about whether his growing manhood is BIGGER or SMALLER than the others than he is about what the TIP looks like!
There are FEW legitimate medical reasons for circumcision, and some religious ones... but barring one of those, leave your pleasure palace the way God crated it! He did it right the first time, he doesn't need a touch-up!
Finally - the point about the 3 friends (well, 1 friend and 2 ex's): all three reported that sex (especially masturbation) felt VERY DIFFERENT after they were "cut"... not better, not worse, just DIFFERENT. (Again, all 3 regretted their decision to get circumcised as adults.)
YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY but remember this: once you're circumcised, there's no going back!

I think you should only have it done if you truly want it, not because your b/f is insisting. I would question his commitment to you in those circumstances.

The majority of those with foreskins can push the skin back on a full erection, and it does not look much different than a circumcised penis . . . best of both worlds there if one is looking to somewhat satisfy both tastes.

It wasn't my choice, I think my parent decided when I was born. The U.S. believes circumcision prevents some known diseases.
-
Uncut is so much better.
If you can pull the skin, there is no need

I wouldn't want to do an irreversible change on one of the most important/enjoyable parts of my body on the off chance that this guy is the love of my life. Not even a tattoo! but then again, that's just me...

I cannot imagine a more personal decision to have or make.
Some things to consider about circumcision:
- It is primarily a cultural and/or religious decision (e.g.: it is a ritual part of the Jewish religion, very common in Islam, and previously was a highly-common cultural practice in America (US)... although the percentages in the US are down to about 50%, and continue to drop ca. 2021).
- Because it is/was a US Cultural preference, there are all kinds of false reports of benefits to circumcision (increased sensitivity, health/safety benefits, claims that women prefer circumcised, even reports that children who were circumcised grew larger penises!) - the vast majority of these reports in favor of circumcision are false or misleading (for example: report of circumcised men having fewer health concerns than uncircumcised ones are usually based on conditions that are easily resolved by simply teaching young boys HOW to clean their penis - the same way young girls have to learn HOW to care for their vaginas to prevent health problems).
- There are some (rare) medical conditions for which circumcision is the preferred treatment.
- There is ABSOLUTELY NO consensus world-wide - even in medical communities - about whether there are medical benefits to being or not-being circumcised.
Long story short: if it was done to you as a child/baby, you don't have a say. Sorry, but blame your parents, or pediatrician, or religious leader...
If it was NOT done to you as a baby, you can choose to have this done to you... but really, why?In case you're wondering, as a 50+ year old white US citizen, I was circumcised as a baby. I've never known anything different. But, I have known 2 men who have had the procedure done AS ADULTS, and both later regretted it. (Your mileage may vary, of course).

When you are circumsized, you may loose a little bit a sensitivity with time, but you can then fuck longer than "regular guys" if you are a top.
I am cut since I am 12 ( tight foreskin issue) and ok.
You first sexual organ is not your dick head; it's your brain.A lot of boys don't know how to clean their uncut dicks - they just put water on it, and then they stink.
One should use soap and rub the head in every skin fold where secretion grows.People got circumsized in hot countries as 2000 years ago hygiene was kind of very basic, so that limited infecction risks.
It's like pork; it's impure in hot countries because when they were no frdge or hygiene it was transmitting Tenia worms.
Nowaday it's just a cultural belief and to keep communities separated under the spell of religious men.I am a fake french, I don't liek cheese, strong smell meet therefore I hate smelly dicks.
Don't do it if someone ask you, some people are crazy about uncut dicks ( and some about smelly dicks)
Do what you feel is good for you.
It has to be done by a urulogist surgeon, and under full anethesia. Then you put a Prince Albert on ; it will look great

Imma say this again - by the time you reach adulthood, having YOURSELF circumcised is a purely personal choice.
That said, the results are even more permanent than a tattoo! (There is no putting that foreskin back!)
But, like a tattoo, the purpose is purely visual and personal... if you like it better, cut it!
But also, all of these purported "medical" reasons are pathetic excuses to explain INFANT circumcision, and they are bogus...
