Any countries besides the U.S. where paid surrogacy is legal?

It's so expensive in America and I was wondering if other countries legally offer it as well (for pay). Nepal and India used to, but they stopped.

Russia is big on it. A lot of rich people go to Russia to undergo surrogacy. They are liberal on this one

If you want updated global data on which countries allow surrogacy – and in which instances – I would point you to the Wikipedia page:

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surrogacy_laws_by_country

The color-coded world chart alone, is fascinating...

Currently, Canada does not allow paid surrogacy.  It does happen though.  However, the government is looking into allowing surrogacy under some strict regulations.
