NEW RULE!! Picture Spamming may lead to Warned Account status!!! Example:
-
It's become a recent problem of some members "gaming" the process of uploading an excessive number of pictures, simply for the sake of earning bonus points. While we normally appreciate member contributions to other member's torrents… when these picture uploads are done to excess, simply for earning points... the end results are... rather destructive, on a number of levels.
Thus... We request that our members be aware and fully conscious of the following RULE...
When uploading pictures to torrents, please avoid "spamming" with excessive numbers of repetitive pictures.
Too, please understand… this type of "picture spamming" can
-
Detract from the overall attractiveness of Torrent Presentations,
-
Lead to member reports and complaints about this issue, to staff,
-
Task our (volunteer) staff to take time and make the time-consuming effort to manually clean up the messy results of your Picture Spamming
-
Cause your account to be logged as in violation of "Picture Spamming"; subsequent repeated behavior leading to Account being placed in Warned Status.
Below is just one example of (before editing)... of Picture spamming:
Clearly… considering the contents? Certainly NO MORE THAN 10 PHOTOS would suffice, agreed?
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

I added stills from a vid's scenes and it's back cover, but were not approved. The torrent only shows the vid's cover, but these 5 jpeg images whow "not approved"? This is the first time I ever have added pics.

Hi!
Those were terrific photos you presented, and they were still in the queue, waiting for approval!!Thank you for your contribution, and they've all been approved. :hug2:
The task of Picture Approval is often one of the most backlogged (log jammed :D) tasks presented to our all-volunteer staff; at this exact moment, there are 89 torrents with over 900 pictures waiting to be reviewed (and probably) approved by staff.
Thank you for your patience.

Pawpcorn, a  to you and all Mods/staff for addressing repetitive and unhelpful picture spamming. If anything, your policy is still very forgiving – I would say that even five of those near-identical sample pics would suffice, lol..!
Cheers!

Thank you for the kind words! Well, actually, it's my hope that the other staff members (besides my occasional foray into picture approvals) who review picture submissions prior to approving them… don't allow for ANY "of those near-identical sample pics", but instead, delete these types of useless pictures. That's my hope, anyway; we're all relying on other Staff member's time, patience, and judgement… for this (hoped for) outcome...
Take care,

And yet another example; not quite as bad as above but many repeated and superfluous pictures… Uploading member warned...
11 pictures HAD TO BE DELETED FROM THIS GROUP OF SUBMITTED PICTURES. -

I agree with the no Spamming. I have a question about upload limit. I cannot find a policy about this relating to lots of different pictures that help to explain lots of different files. I have been uploading pictures to several torrents recently, and just encountered note telling me I cannot anymore upload images.
My ratio is fine, so this is not just to earn points. I tend to get bored and am a bit OCD, so I just sit sometimes and try to help by uploading pictures. What limit should I be aware of, or should i just stop trying to help?

Relevant and Not Relevant in posting pic related to the torrent
e.g. The Cult Will Braun fucked by Colby Keller, so add pictures related to this example
This is correct
This is ALSO CORRECT, because even though this is not in the scene, This is the promo shot of that scene
This is NOT CORRECT (This just a random shots of the porn stars which has nothing to do with that particular scene. These 2 pictures are not even a promo shots of the example scene)

Another kind of Picture Spamming is this example
1 file of The Cult Will Braun fucked by Colby Keller, so add pictures related to this example
This is correct
This is NOT CORRECT (This just a random shots of the porn stars which has nothing to do with that particular scene. These 2 pictures are not even a promo shots of the example scene)

Hi
Can anyone tell me why I get a message saying Not Approved Pictures when I try to add a pic to my or other peoples postings using the add screenshot option?
whilst I seem to get pics added to my postings even before they have been downloaded, esp by the person who is spamming other peoples postings with wrong pics at the moment.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for any help. -

I think people have a really hard time sticking to the rules on this site.
Maybe people are unaware or because no penalty is given for a violation.I believe it's so bad that 2/5 new torrent uploads is neglecting the rules.

How about a seedbonus limit per torrent on pictures? You can upload 20 pix if you want, but you only get credit for 5. [choose the numbers you like]
If someone tries spamming multiple torrents to get seedbonus, you can send them a warning/timed ban as appropriate.
As for some of the "spammed" examples, I like having more pictures than not, it is nice seeing what angles there are, etc. If they were utterly identical, I'd completely agree but some of the examples are a bit more marginal. Still, if you put a limit on what you "pay" per account, it should drastically reduce the gaming of the system.
;D

Hmm, I tend to only add pics to torrents without any preview pics - or if the current ones are misleading enough that it conflicts. Since porn is extremely superficial and we all have our preferences, I try to include one pic of "everything".
Such as:
Each face.
Each dick (to show circumsized or not)
Body Hair/Body Shot
Each Position (oral included here - usually fused for 'dick' shot to show if un/cut)
and Penatration (to verify or let others know that it may say bareback but clearly isn't.)Anyway, maybe as a sort of 'fix' for pic spam, the current gallery module could be fixed to require said photo slots as a max?

Can we ban "filmstrip" pics as the first pic in the description, please? I'm not keen on them to begin with as they are difficult to browse (my browser doesn't let me scroll through the image, so if it's longer than the height of my browser, it's cut off, anyway), are often of such reduced resolution as to be useless, etc. But the main problem is that filmstrips, when the first pic in the description, take up a huge amount of space in the "browse" view. This has recently become a huge problem and makes sorting through new content all the more difficult.

I second the motion. I don't know where these come from, but even if they're ripped directly from another site, it's easy enough with screen-grab software to chop up the strip into manageable pieces. Maybe make a limit of no more than four images stacked vertically?
That being said, at least a filmstrip is better than a deadbeat torrent that doesn't have any images at all. It would be nice if the system software wouldn't upload a torrent if there were no attached images, but I know how tricky it is to patch software–especially stuff that works!

This is a good idea. They seem to take up a lot of space while at the same time having individual cells that are too small to see any real detail. Might be hard to enforce through.

Yeah, fully agreed. Actually I was going to wrote the same. Its most annoying thing on site, hate that "filmstrip" pics
